I was doing that cradle @9:25 got 70%of my whole pec torn off the bone and in the belly of the muscle. My conclusion is never put something as weak as an arm against a leg or a whole body. A black belt exploded and was basically my chest and arm against his dead lift strength. Great roll here though

would it be correct to say you need to transition quick and pull that leg in quick. ie don't do a half cradle. it seems. you really do need to break their posture so they can't do the DL.

@@darkhorse888 I guess you do minimize your chance of getting injured by being very deep in the cradle, so that there leg is bent into there chest, but I think you shouldn't have such a risk doing a maneuver, its put me off cradles a good bit, except those reinforced with a leg like Neil Melanson dose. I love the Kesa position and think there are really some things still to be extracted from there that are good, but this Submission is one of them, even though I got taps from it and loved it, it wont be much good against bigger guys and there is a serious threat of injury. Mine was an expensive operation and 4 months out of training and 6 from harder rolling.
