The Battle of Wizna was a battle between 720 Heavily Outnumbered Polish Soldiers that went up against a force of 40,000 German Soldiers. Somehow the Polish Force stalled the Oncoming Force for 3 Days before eventually being Overwhelmed by the German Tanks.

Greetings from Poland . I watched the music video. And I will say that it is interesting. I have no idea what anime is. But it does not differ too far from historical realities. The only thing that doesn't match is the color of the defenders' uniforms. Besides, everything can be found in the history of Poland. Women as super spies leading the Germans by the nose - Krystyna Skarbek, Halina Szwarc, Halina Szymańska. There were also civilians fighting the invader. Virtually every political option had its armed group during the German occupation. Interestingly, armored trains were also in use during the German attack on Poland. During the Battle of Mokra on September 1, 1939. It was during this battle that the service of the anti-aircraft gun from an armored train used it to fight the German infantry. As for the execution of civilians and prisoners of war, this is also correct. From the first day of the occupation, practically until its end, it was the order of the day.

The Anime is named "Izetta - The last Witch" , set on a somewhat alternate Europe. Names of the countries are changed, but for the most part, the anime is heavily inspired by the Polish stand against the Germans. In this timeline most of Europe is kingdom/empire based by 1939~ , so the main antagonist is a Kaiser rather than a Führer. The series heavily focuses on the main heroines; a Princess and a Witch. But the worldbuilding and WW2 allegories were incredibly good. Totally recomend to watch it. The Main Heroine is red haired and wears a white dress, pretty much mimic the Polish Flag palette.

@@zahylon5993 thank you for the information . And somehow I'm not surprised that Japan does anime with Poland in the background. Because when you look at the history of relations between Poland and Japan, it sometimes looks like anime. The first action of the Japanese Red Cross is the evacuation of Polish orphans from Siberia. In return, Polish intelligence taught the Japanese to break Russian codes. Second War is also interesting material for Anime. Even without magic and the like. Japanese ambassador to Kaunas saving Jews in cooperation with Polish spies. Or a Polish diplomatic post on Japanese territory that drove the Germans furious. She helped in the escape of people chased by the Germans with the quiet consent of Japan. The more you learn about this topic, the more interesting it becomes

I'm late I am always. The Series is about a second Switzerland but they get attacked by Germans instead of left alone. The witch is fairy tale that then comes back alive during the war to boost morale. It's very great at least the first half the later half is eh. Good day. Oh and btw your goal keeper is fucking awesome getting a kick full force in his face not complaining and even apologising to the Austrians very sportsman.
