i remember encountering a cheater in TF2, he's locking sniper for the easy headshot kills. but i had 5 years play time on the game and most of those years spent on maining Sniper & Demo and ofc i had to go against him with my main classes. cant say i destroyed him but at least on par with him i guess? and mid match while were talking about him and his shitty, outplayed and weakass cheat engine he got VAC banned lol. and so i thought there were people out there who can outplay cheaters or atleast go on par against them because of mere experience or strength and hell yeah it feels good going up against such enemies and destroying them.. you feel dominant that you need no shit like cheats to beat the shit out of em so i can totally relate to their taunts of victory in the end..

I think common cheats in Apex are wall hack aim bot. Since we can't see the opponent pov I couldnt tell specifically, but as the VTuber said his (cheater) movement is weird and the shot is like beam, well it could be cheat or better pro player.

Most likely aimbots, Auto-aims on the enemy and can knock you down with 1 shot no matter the gun is.

Sorry if this comes out as a stupid question, but can someone break down to me how they realize the player is cheating? Because I barely know how Apex works, so I don't really understand all the concepts yet. I got very happy that they won and even defeated the cheater tho! Thanks for the video!

Before encounter : Suspicious low level badge with high kill counts or could be on diamond rank, ign often shows in the kill log at the top right, Encounter :Shooting through a wall/knowing your location behind a wall, bronze-gold level movement but hitting bullets like crazy, all/mostly headshot, high kill/assist count

Since what we can see is only players pov, and not the cheater pov because they won the game, it's kinda difficult to say whether he cheat or not. cheater in apex are mostly (not so too) using smurf account or low level account, that is not balance with the ranks. if there is player with default skin and low level we can suggest that either its pro in smurf acc or cheater, and they are beaming, the shot is just accurately hit the head, and that's a signal either pro player or cheater.

they have experiences on meeting a cheater in the game multiple time I'd say. because Apex ranked somehow full of cheater the high the rank is.

Cheaters tend to get banned so when you see a low level account on diamond 1 then the probability is high... They were lucky that the cheaters were the champion squad so they got their IGNs. All they have to do now to solidify the speculation was to monitor the kill feed. If that same IGN pops up with an abnormal amount of headshot kills then theres your cheater
