I honestly hated Izzie on this episode because: 1. She stole a heart meant for another person (which then became useless as Denny dies on the finale). 2. She made her _friends_ almost get kicked out of the program just to have her corpse boyfriend inside her. 3. Burke got shot because of her. If she hadn't lied when Burke called, Burke wouldn't have had to go back. 4. She's just selfish and stupid.

First of all you can't simply snap an LVAD driveline wire with a pair of scissors and secondly even if the LVAD stops a patient doesn't die immediately you can still support with ECMO and then reinplan a new LVAD or simply survive with a week heart but usually doesn't fall dead

Surprisingly you can. There's a case report where a patient trying to remove his depends with scissors cut the LVAD driveline. Emergency room was even able to splice the wires to get it pumping again however the patient died a week later.
