Jumps/Hands aren't counted in that area of the resultscreen, only the combo, and I've got no idea why. A good thing out of it is that you can count how many jumps there are, but that's about it.

@IzzySM Yeh mirrored is crazy like that. I played a bunch of songs mirrored, ones that I'd be one or two greats away from a triple, and on the first try I was getting the AAA. Is there any other cool arrow changes that benefit you? I found the 'note' noteskin and that one helps out a lot sometimes.

All the arrows are switched to its opposite. So if the original combination was left, down, up, right, the arrows will come: right, up, down, left. So it's no difference. The combo counts all the jump steps, the Marvelous, Perfect, Great etc... Don't count jumps as two.

@WillemJanFrederik Thanks. :) Well, it is possible to do Hands (3 or 4 arrows at the same time), but it's a bit harder. So doing that with Index is harder then doing it with Spread ofcourse, but otherwise it isn't that much of a difference. I play both so. :)

If the're BPM changes in the song, playing X-Mods will change depending on the BPM of the songs, stops etc. C-Mods however not, they will use the same speed disregarding BPM Stops, BPM Changes etc.

@IzzySM Yeh I figured it out, but I don't know why you like it so much. Most songs have a balance of stream on the left and right hand, so mirroring it will just make different parts harder on the left hand. Only a few songs in my library are easier mirrored.

For this video (and as well as many others), I'm using 1235 at the numpad, which actually is the same setup as the Arrow keys. I'm just using those instead of my arrow keys because they suck and you have to hit them EXACTLY in the middle, otherwise they don't respond.

Well, time dosen't effect gameplaying at all, it took me like 1,5 years to even pass MAX 300. (That was 7 years ago and there weren't any harder files though lmao haha). But AAA'ing Quasar on 1,4 is really good.

when you play the song, not in the score screen, when you hit a jump, the combo counter goes up by two, but mine only goes up by one, for example, when you do the 5 jump part, the combo goes up by ten, mine only goes up by five

It depends, it's majorly easier to have timing with Index then with Spread. But it's a whole lot easier to pass songs with Spread. I btw still suck at Spread and I'm only a "timing" player more than a speed/stamina/jackingman.

Well, if just mean by beating this song and getting a D or a C, I guess it could take anything between 1 month or half a year, depeningen on how good your chances are on improving. Yes there are, mostly. Playing a song like this, or an even better example, Strangeprogram, that song is 215 BPM with just streams and jumps, and a LOTS of Trills, which makes that song really hard to get a good timing one for most Spread players (Yes there are ofcourse exceptions :P) But a song like My Spirit Will Go On, which has Jumpstream pretty much the whole song, makes it super hard for Index players (One person in the world have a pass with Index on it lol, not me btw). :D

Well, it's just as easy just by changing the pictures in the gfx-folder manually, you just have to change the name of two pictures and delete the old ones (or just writing .old on them to keep them just in case) The exe-file never worked for me anyway lol. :P

I'm not sure but maybe 4/5 years. :P Jumps Streams took a while to figure out, and really hard at higher speeds. You could either practice Jump Stream songs or REALLY fast streams, or just really fast jumps in a row. That helped me a lot. :)

I hope you did go to OPTIONS, GamePlay OPTIONS, then put the Solo Singles OPTION to On. You're not supposed to choose Solo instead of Single after you pressed Enter the first time from the Main menu. The name of my website is written on my profile HERE on KZbin. :)

Yeah that's probably the best idea, or if you're a good Spread player you can just do Spread songs, but I do as well play Spread sometimes (Not that good though). Try Doin' the Kirby, you should atleast easily AAAAA it on Beginner and/or Light after a few tries. :)

Haha yeah, I've passed MAX 300 on Heavy with One Finger, and I did not use mods like "No Hands" or "No Jumps". I've also AAAA'ed the 9-fotter song from DDR Pack 4, 5, 6 or something like that called "My Summer Love" on Heavy. :)
