I'm glad that you are fighting the Goblins, I imagine the great tribes of Dunland would have great disdain for such week feeble creatures. How dare they pillage the Northern lands! Nothing a heavy axe swing won't fix.. The Dunland warriors will come streaming out of the forests like Wolves releasing a rage that will make the Goblins cower back to their caverns.

The Dunlendings were friendly to the dwarves and traded, and also actually traded with hobbits.That's how they had pipeweed.

Hi there Izzy, here is an idea. You still have uruk-hai units in your army. If you want to betray the White Wizard I cannot imagine them going along with this. So here is the plan: You can only attack Isengard once those units have been wiped from the earth. You cannot disband them nor can you just suicide them into an enemy army (this would rouse suspicion). Thus you'll have to put them on the frontline of your army until these Uruks have been entirely spent. Once this is achieved, you take the fight to Isengard. It may be a bit convoluted but I think it fits the narrative of betrayel quite nicely. Thanks for reading and keep up with the vids, they're a real joy!

Betraying Saruman would be so good after the gobos and Rohan are done for, Saruman is thinking of Dunlednings as savages, tools, pawns, Yagthak a fool, easily manipulated, imagine the scene of Saruman storming out to the balcony seeing the Ents wreck stuff, now instead of that it's an Army of Wulguard, Warband, and Orthanc units lead by Yagthak, the ones who he taught are useless beyond raiding will be the ones to root him out of Orthanc, using the weapons and armors that he gifted them

I was just thinking Izzy, if you are going to war against Bree the Rangers, the Elves and maybe the Dwarves are going to attack (probably). It wouldn't be a bad idea to start investing in proper cavalry. Subjugate the Rohirrim!

Hello, friend. It's good that you insist in taking down Rohan. They are your archenemy and you must take them down with whatever means possible. Since only Rochburg stays in their hands in the north, a secondary army can attack, while Frecca will attack Entwade and the army from Edoras to Aldburg and Calenhad. This will also complete what you have against Rohan. Building Wolf's Palace will also be of benefit and complete the scrpit. On the Goblins, I suggest that you form a second army in that front and march them to Tharbad, which is a main objective of yours. If you manage to claim Argond as well with what you can spare, even better, because it will shield you from Enedwaith. Tharbad and Ost-in-Edhil can be very nice choke points for repelling the Goblins, but you need more men to march forth against them. I generally agree, however, to claim all of the Goblin territory before you proceed to Bree. As for Enedwaith, wait and see, don't attack them if they haven't - and they serve well as shield against Gondor. If they want to smash their heads on Gondor, let them do it. Finally, about Saruman, I also play the idea to kill him in Isenguard, but not before the completion of the script. Although we might lose Yagthak and Frecca and Manthar, who are our custom generals and are with us from the beginning. Finally, keep on the economy and infrastructure, don't forget to give something to it every turn. Have a nice time.

I was playing this campaign, and I realised that you get the berserkers and the other uruk hai units in the custom battle tab, but they aren't available at orthanc. I modded them in myself, and I made the logging camp at fangorn buildable by dunland as well as adding the ability to train the uruk hai from there. I can send you these files if you want. Also I fixed the silver surfer bug for the rohirrim because the devs havent released that patch yet.

Offtopic but Is there ever a time when Gondor, Dorwinion, Dale, and Rohan AI doesn't immediately fold to Isengard, Dol Goldor and Mordor AI? I love playing as elves of lothlorien/mirkwood but my "allies" never pull their weight. I've seen the High Elves do pretty well but the Men factions just stink as AI or am I missing something. I usually play on medium.

Btw does anyone have a real personal trouble playing against the "good" factions from the LoTR story? I've been a fan of the books since I was a kid and although I've tried all the factions I can't bring myself to do a full campaign of the bad factions. Makes me sad killing all the characters and elves.
