J-10+JF-17 is a sick combo because one is a Jet Fighter and the other is a Strike Aircraft, so spawning one doesn't affect the SP cost of spawning the other.

I recently got my J-10A spaded trough GRB only! And i have to say i was pleasantly suprised about the glide bombs when i started using them. I started playing strictly CAP but ive since swapped my loadout to 2 Glide bombs 2 PL-5's and 2 PL-12's. Most of the time you get 2-3 kills with the bombs because AA just sit still, and if you fly smart they'll focus you not the bombs. They're super easy to toss 15-20km and then trust the J-10's flight model to keep the AA's focus on you

8:15 This missile is really low on energy if I had to bet. One way to gauge the missiles energy is putting it on the 3-9 line then watch the MSL ping. If it starts moving down the clock, towards your six then that missile will never catch you if you. Conversely if the MSL ping starts moving up the clock then it’s time to use chaff & notch, drag the MSL & gauge its energy again or get below 60m (too high imo). Cheers Commander o7

Agreed with OP, the missiles were effectively dead for maneuvering since you dragged them down into thick air and they were launched from so far away. If you take into account burn time and have an idea of altitude they were launched from, in this specific case if you were to pull up while cold, you'd have been fine.

I really wish they would give us a ground ec mode with big maps and unlimited spawns. If you could spawn at cap points it wouldent be bad even for slow tanks. It would make strategic placement off aa much more important if part of the ground map was beyond aa coverage. Also would be beneficial to tankers because they would not all be in such a small area making them easy for CAS to find. Great video as always that thing looks super maneuverable!

Hey Hunter :) Nice video as always. Only thing with the JDAM style bombs is that you don’t need them to release near the bomb crosshair on the ground. Especially the Chinese JDAMS with the wings. I hit drops with the F16C from 18km while the bomb drop crosshair was WAY far off the target. These things glide through the air sooo damn far it’s kinda funny 😄

I don’t think you need to put that third person bomb impact marker on the target to give the glide bombs enough range to hit. Pretty sure that target marker is assuming you’re using a regular dumb bomb so you shouldn’t need to toss the bombs to get them there.

Why do you carry the HE and HE-VT separately? The HE-VT has the same explosive mass as the regular one, and I have yet to gotten it to fuse on tanks, so it’s multipurpose.

@@Hunter_i86 What I mean is that you dont need to carry the regular HE, because the HE-VT does not fuse on tanks like some other proxy shells do. You can carry all proxy HE without detriment. Started down the Chinese Techtrees a month ago. Liking it so far, really expecting to like the higher tier stuff (8.0+) BUT Fox 3s scare the shit out of me 😅😅 Grinding the French 12.0+ jets as well (I'm a French Main). Full top tier just scares me as a CAS pilot. Your videos have helped alot Hunter! Keep it up!!

Fox 3 is really a problrm in 12.7 CAS, I use mine to shoot down enemy planes or make them defend and buy me some time to use my air to ground ordnance, and sometimes when the spam is too much one can start with SPAA instead of tank and work on clearing the sky as much as possible before jumping in the aircraft. Good luck my friend, I love France specially Mirage F1, recently I made a try hard video about it, CAS with unguided weapons against Pantsir S1 is crazy! 😂 Check it out 👌

@@Hunter_i86 Saw that video and loved it. I don't fly the F1s in Ground but I've flown them in Air SIM. Decent planes in my opinion. I've seen how Fox 3s can be annoying because you have to defend if the RWR starts ringing and then you get pushed back so far. Next, you gotta fully reset your approach and pray an SPAA isn't looking at you from 12km. I like the Mirage 2000D R-1 in a SEAD role with the AS-30Ls and then use the GBUs for tanks but I don't know how to deal with Pantsirs 😅 They kick my ass and Strelas at 10.3 is another one I don't know how to deal with either. If a Stela missile flys, you die. Atleast i do anyway.

Big No 👎 You have air target calls, thermal optics, compass and SPAA very good air radars. Arcading the game more and more is not healthy. If we made everything marked and spotted the element of surprise will be removed which is important to the gameplay. Air Arcade and Air RB both are garbage modes in my opinion just because everything is marked.

It’s a game and it is way easier to shoot weakspots on tanks than in real life. And the Abram’s just has massive weak spots. The turret ring alone I a certain death sentence if another tank would hit it. That counts for all tanks. Thing is, the Abrams has a whole ass entrance towards it.. blame the US government for this. Every other nation saw this and said, yea nah, f*ck that. lol
