I used to get very stoned and listen to this video a few years ago. The sax solo is still one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever head. The lick at 3:40 has so much sass and personality to it. Hearing it years ago taught me what people meant when they say that musical phrasing is a dialogue. The crescendo at 5:50 continues to be one of my all time favorite musical moments

J'attendrai is a song close to the heart of a great man of India -Russi Mody. He was my Chairman & MD at Tata Steel-an astounding personality who enjoyed life to the hilt and the people he went out to reach. I do miss him.

There is nothing but perfection here. The clothing is something chosen by a Hollywood costumer in their prime, the performances lively and riveting, the open door an invitation to a party which we, the viewers, are lucky to attend. The almost failed translation into English just makes the video better. Wow!

I come back and watch this quite alot, up there with one of my favourite videos of a live jam. Each player listens to eachother really well. The bassist is immense! Got to be the most subtle holding together of a live performance I have seen

@@frogwood1713 Cello plays mostly bass clef, as does the left hand on piano, doesn't someone playing them a "bassist". You were inaccurate, I was trying to correct you but you're having none of it 😄 It is a cello, played by a cellist, stop trying (and failing) to make a semantic argument.
