JB is the right coach as he's had experience with younger teams. The good news is there's only one way but UP with the STONES this year after last year's performance. I think the problem outside of shooting was lack of vets. I know people don't tink much of Tobias but he's definitely been through the ringer (media wise) and he may have some lessons he could impact. I like Hardaway and Malik also.

I mean within the 5 years in Cleveland he's helped get them to the play-in, to the 1st round and then to the 2nd round of the playoffs. That isn't something to scoff about. If progress is what Detroit wants, then they've got that in spades with JB Bickerstaff.

JB Bickerstaff: It's OUR JOB to make him feel 7ft tall and bulletproof. NOTE: Fans can HELP make players feel 7ft tall and bulletproof. It's called "GOING TO WORK"!

I think you Pistons fans are really going to like J.B. He definitely didn't deserve to be let go after pulling the Cavs through a ridiculous amount of injuries to the 2nd round of the playoffs.

As a cavs fan, JB is a good short term coach who can build a culture around a young team but ultimately his inability to generate offense and a true gameplan makes him a bad long term option

JB Bickerstaff won't last long as Detroit Pistons basketball coach LOL. Detroit did Monty Williams dirty by firing him after last basketball season. How is Monty Williams supposed to get Detroit to the playoffs in one year? LOL. My hometown Cleveland should've never fired JB Bickerstaff. It's not JB fault Cleveland bad defense is why they can't go far in NBA playoffs LOL.

@@keithwitcher5130 The GM & Coach can't keep their jobs after a "historic" losing streak like that, bottom line. Somebody gotta go. NBA Standard.

I don't think he's expected to get them into the playoffs right off the bat. It's more of improvement year to year then the expectations of playoffs thereafter. If I had to guess maybe year 2or 3. It could be sooner dependent on how fast the young guys develop and the vets contributions, you know? .

@@kimberlythomas3943as a pistons fan I watched every game and keep up with new on the team, Monty simply didn’t want to be here. His wife has stuff going on and he only accepted the job for the money, being fired he’s still getting paid by the suns for another year and pistons for the next 3-4 years doing nothing
