Personally I hv always felt that its better to spend a bit more on established, tried & tested brands and get the peace of mind. New products are more like toys with attractive features that are largely compromised as a part of cost cutting policy. Ola should hv rather taken more time, analysed all the possible dimensions before jumping into the sea of EV.. fiber body, incomplete features, battery drain issues are only denting its image. Personally I'll rather wait for a company like Honda to launch Activa EV.. since I hv been riding Activa since 1.5 years & I'm satisfied to the core with the quality Honda offers.. I wud rather wait fr them.. Becoz they'll definitely maintain the standards while manufacturing EVs. Companies tht hv newly jumped into 2-wheeler EV segment need to do a lot more homework.. Packaging fancy toys won't sustain for too long.

This is height of cost cutting & it makes absolutely clear that they are trying to make the most of this "rage" surrounding EV scooters.

In case of EVs Don't wait for established companies. Look at new chetak and TVs i qube...they are not at all promoting their EVs as if only for a name sake they are into EVs. They have all the capital R&D and resources to fullfill an ideal Indian Middle class EV need. They could have done it by now but they haven't. Especially a company like Honda won't make an EV that is that good that someone will chose their EV over Activa.

To everyone complaining 180 km range not given by scooter, please understand that 180 km figure is under lab conditions. People need to understand this and this is also Ola's mistake that they did marketed it like that. Take any EV and expect a range of 30-35 km range per kWh irrespective of what company claims.

मेरे पास Revolt RV400 है, व्यावहारिक रूप में Revolt की sport mode में टॉप स्पीड मात्र 81 km/h है, और normal mode में maximum स्पीड 60 km/h है। तथा फुल चार्ज पर यह sport mode में 65-70 किमी का एवरेज देती है, और normal mode में 90 किमी का एवरेज देती है। जो कि OLA के 135 Km के एवरेज से काफी कम है। इसलिये मेरे अनुसार वर्तमान समय में OLA इलेक्ट्रिक बाइक की श्रेणी में No.1 पर है। Ather या Bajaj Chetak की तो OLA इलेक्ट्रिक स्कूटर से कोई तुलना ही नहीं है।

1) We have Ather 450X in White and it has plenty of issues like Front handle vibrates + makes loud cheap noises in small potholes and even in small patches of roads . 2) Dealership owner and some employees have a rude attitude towards me because i am too smart for them to handle(In short) .3) Software issues like Ride mode changes after 1-2 seconds in screen 4) Right side fast charging not charging fastly outside ather showroom in Dharampeth 5) In just 2 week's of delivery of vehicle i am mentally disturbed because of this people

Electric Scooters are still a Toy Thing for India!! You can't rely on EC as your primary vehicle....if you can't afford car, you've to keep a Petrol two wheeler as your primary vehicle!! We Indians cover longer distances even on two wheelers and 70-80 km (150km updown) sometimes happens to be in our list....sadly you can't make it with EC...for that you've to borrow a petrol bike from your friend!! My point is, jab tak companies apna fast charging stations nahi bithayenge, tab tak EV bekar hai!!

Ola just a misdirected company, with unrealistic promises. It's CEO is in hurry to become India's Elon Musk. In last 2 years more than 20 executives quite the company. One example, when the pre book date was near, there website wasn't ready so they hired 'a' developer to fix it. When he couldn't fix in a night, they fired him!! They were into e scooter talk just 6 months before the announcement. Ola tried to become big name in every successful domain of business, without proper planning and execution and failed in everything. So finally think it's future is in electric vehicle!! With ola failure Ather has gained a lot of customers.

Hum jaiso ko iska fayda nhi jinki monthly fuel expenses 900-1000 rupe tak ho scooter ka. Because 15k is enough for an year including maintenance so the extra 70-75k what we’re paying for ev scooter, is enough for 5 years if we use petrol scooter.

High range EV costs ₹1.40 lakhs, . (Approximate) where as bike will cost you ₹ 75000. If you have limited usage, then EV are useless. The customer need to change the battery after 5 years. (If you don't want swap) That will add to the cost. At present EV is not trustworthy for atleast country like India. EV do have maintenance cost, otherwise how company will survive? Software upgrade, separate app cost (like Ather), etc.

Right now i am using Ampere reo . I am happy with it . If your daily running is not more than 35 km , then don't invest 1 lakh in these testing hi-tech products . Better go for 60-65 k amepere or hero or ronflat etc . Amepere reo is the best .

I have pre-booked it. And was going to buy for my mom. Then delay after delay and then quality issues and fire accidents in news and bad news social media changed my mind. Then I bought Hero electric scooter for my mom. My mom is not going to do stunt neither she is going to run it at 60kmph. Vai Hero electric scooter atleast safe to hai. Super safe
