After spending almost 15 minutes of anticipated waiting on the core Airport Express side platform, an 8-car Adtranz-CAF A-Stock EMU Set No. E105-K405, which would soon function as the three o' clock (15 00) Airport Express train service bound for Hong Kong International Airport & AsiaWorld-Expo, safely arrived at Hong Kong Station at 2.53 p.m. (14 53) on Track No. 1. Once all of the train doors were opened, I quickly boarded the train via Car No. 1 (E105) and secured Seats No. 5A & 5B for the coming mid-afternoon trip of only 28 minutes to the AsiaWorld-Expo exhibition and convention center near Hong Kong International Airport on Lantau Island.
