After spending almost 35 minutes of anticipated waiting on the sole Airport Express side platform, an 8-car Adtranz-CAF A-Stock EMU Set No. E109-K409, which would function as the ten o' clock Airport Express train service bound for AsiaWorld-Expo via Hong Kong International Airport, eventually arrived at Hong Kong Station at exactly 9.53 a.m. sharp on Track No. 1. Once all the train doors were opened, I soon boarded the train through Car No. 1 (E109) and secured Seats No. 5A and 5B for the coming morning trip of 28 minutes to the AsiaWorld-Expo exhibition and convention center located near Hong Kong International Airport on Lantau Island.
Once the clock struck exactly ten o' clock, all of the train doors were closed, and the Airport Express train soon pulled out of Hong Kong Station for its regional morning trip of only 28 minutes to the AsiaWorld-Expo exhibition and convention center via Hong Kong International Airport located to the west on Lantau Island. I was finally en route for a regional morning metro journey duration of only 28 minutes to the AsiaWorld-Expo exhibition and convention center situated directly to the west on Lantau Island, as well as for my first Airport Express MTR joyride round of the day.
