I imagine this chorus as a wedding toast. As a groom hailing the bride's dad. I know this is a different story, but that's how I pictured this song in my head. Like a problematic family in a gathering with the scores settled in peace, especially at the last chorus. Beautiful shit!

After this Cole and Kendrick diss situation, and Cole's apology making the rap nation crucify him on a stake of cowardice, I had to rush here finding this as therapy. Seeing what they are doing to Cole breaks my heart. But I know Cole's going to resurrect from this tomb they are trying to lock him in. It will be a greater glory and he is going to have more on his side. I believe this is the way of purposeful sons. I stand with Cole a 100 times.
