The Great J.D. Crowe will live on in our hearts and minds until time ends. Greatest of the great 5 stringers; magnificent talent!

I love anything and everything JD crowe, but this is certainly an unusual configuration of the band that I had never seen before.

A fabulous band, but I don't think that the voice of Glen Lawson fits there....

I have to disagree,It is hard to replace a voice like Tony Rice had in the mid 70s so something different may have been the best choice.Glenns voice was awesome for this time period or any time period,,,,,,He was a perfect voice for Spectrum as well.Great and rare footage here!

I love it! I think they smoke a bunch of the so-called “big names”!

This is when everyone bailed on him, but he came back harder in my opinion!!

Not the best mix though, no doubt. Just grateful it exists! 🙏

My 1st impression too, ,, but JD, Jimmy, Bobby,,, omg,, I forgot to care after that, Thank You for posting this !! OK I did not listen to the drums ,,,,,, I'm OK with JD doing whatever to make a living and keep the folks coming to the shows. I was never there, on the road, trying to book venues etc. Next to Earl Scruggs JD is my biggest influence in music, lifetime of gratitude here.

Is this the show where they picked Keith Whitley up from The Clinch mountain Boys?

Steel drums and guitar need to go. That ain't no part of nothing!
