Thanks for the great video, it brought back many memories from my childhood.. It was 41 years ago, when I was 14, when we retired our FH2 due to electrification of our family run tile/brick factory. It was in full working order then and has been preserved well since. Are these engines of any value today?

Awesome! I was looking for some info about these kind of engines, a friend has a water well and uses a the same engine but on 40HP, the head is missing so wea re trying to get a new or second hand one to fix the engine and start it again! What do you think about spare parts? Anyone sells? Great vid! Please any info or links are welcome! Bes regards from Canary Islands, Spain.

I saw a: FH 1 81/2 X 133/4 40 @ 500 Water 3709 J & H McLaren (Petter-McLaren) today, a clearing sale is coming up and I got to look at it. I took photos. Are these rare? It has the instructions up in the wall still along a old homested along the river. I NEED MORE INFORMATION
