I don't understand why people have been saying " oh i never expected this from J-hope and i didn't knew he would come up with this kinda rap" ... Its simple. People doesn't have only one side of their personality, they possess multiple personality traits. And J-hope HAS IT ALL i can say 💯 So He is actually operating at his highest potential and embracing this kinda aura of who he really is and wants to expose his TRUE SELF. 😀🌼 That's Deeply Inspiring to millions 😍

The whole album "Jack in the box" is freaking masterpiece..when you read the lyrics of each track, it hits very different, telling a story, his cadence, his flow, the production! do not play with this man & his art, he's serious about it, he has went beyond! Hoseok outdid himself again.."Hope world" & "Jack in the box" is like full 360° turn! (Tho from daydream we know the depth of his lyrics which introduces us to harsh reality of his/their lives as idols, as BTS in "hope world" also this song gives me a lil bit "hangsang" vibes, which is again from "hope world" so it's also not surprising to see this side of hobi..not that different from hope world if we think, but surely the big difference in vibe/concept) this album is so personal & vulnerable, giving such classic hip hop like you can hear his influences but it's also so freshly hoseok, completely him but also a new side of him! I'm genuinely in love ✨💜 now about "Arson" the lyrics are thought provoking & paired with this imagery, arson is next level stunning! hobi is really bringing us out of "hope world", into the depths of his genius mind🔥🖤 i I'm love with all the tracks, specially equal sign, Arson, safety zone, what if, future...well👁️👄👁️ every jack in the box track is my fav until i hear the next one i guess 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻‍♀️🤣 *Fellow ARMYs: stream Arson & Jack in the box y'all!💜*

You don't know how many times I pulled a stank face while listening to this and More. I showed my brother this one and we both looked at eachother hella angry wondering why it was so good 😂J-hope is just a one-of-a-kind artist man, a genius and even tho he was calm at the start I felt his words and passion he's made for this. But the album is the joint and we're so proud of him, can't wait for Hobipalooza!

J-Hope really loves older hip hop. You noticed that it sounded gritty old hip hop and if you ever watched any of his dance sessions this is the kind of music he dances to. He's always been a dancer so the natural rhythm stuck with him and it helped develop his musical talents up until now.

I love how jhope is really getting back to the music he loves. He's always seemed to be drawn more towards old school hip hop and now he's creating this classic hip hop vibe that was a lost art for awhile. I'm so happy he is making music that he loves and can vibe to when he's dancing.

Hoseoks new song is fire. Words can't begin to explain just how Fire and Dope this song is. I live the old hiphop beat of the song and I also love how catchy it is. I love how the lyrics rhyme with eachother and I love his voice in this song aswell. The MV is amazing as I love how burnt-out everything is, I so love how "arson" is written is fire. I also love the message behind the lyrics too. Thos side of Hoseok I'm loving I can't wait to hear the entire album now.

Did you notice at the end of the video J-Hope splits the "S" in ARSON, now the bottom of the split is a "j" and J-Hope is the dot on the "j". Hoseok is back to his ROOTS........HIP HOP YASSSS! WU TANG CLAN YASSSS. The picture of the house at the beginning to me could represent how BTS💜has always been required to be "picture perfect" This is Jung Hoseok and this is a Master creating his ART without restraint. Sooooooo PROUD to be ARMY. I bow down to Hobi🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Absolutely best reaction I've seen yet! Your words brought me nearly to tears a couple of times. I'm 69 years old and BTS have totally turned my music tastes upside down, especially after hearing my absolute favourite, Outro: Tear (which I still play on repeat every night driving home). I would never have believed that I would love songs like this. More and Arson are amazing and I'm so pleased this Album is getting the respect it deserves. I wish I could listen to you on Patreon too but can't afford it I'm afraid so I do hope you continue on KZbin (a lot of reactors have started on KZbin and then end up concentrating on using Patreon). I always, always respect your views and comments because you get it! 💜💜💜

Also when you think about it, arson is a fire that is purposefully set, it’s not an accident or just occurs out of nowhere, there’s intention and arguably meaning behind it. So when J-hope is talking about meaning and intentions, the title really resonates. He and BTS didn’t get popular or “burn bright” out of nowhere, they put the hard work and meanings and intention into and it drives their music and lives. So it’s arson, not just fire!

This whole album is just combustive. It breaks through those rose-tinted glasses and drags you through the broken glass into the real world. Literally letting you know that people are multi-faceted, and it's time to stop living in some fantasy land of everything being perfect and aspiring to everything you see on tv. This whole album asks us to question our notions of success and reality and asks if they're based on fantasy or are we actually living in the reality of the world.

I thought about it a lot. I think the beginning is about their rise. Everything is on fire, he’s untouched, he’s talking about his passion and how it was fun. The middle is about coming to a point after their rise (maybe after or around the time they decided to pause making music together for awhile) where he’s questioning if he should just retire. Nothing is on fire anymore. He’s all dirty. He says that the fire was big but that he was in pain and afraid. He talks about quitting while you still have people rooting for you, says his job is done and there’s nothing left to do. But he still asks that question: which should he choose? Then I think the end is about his choosing to continue making music. Things are on fire again-in fact, he himself is on fire. The last word of the song is ‘arson’. I think he’s saying he intends to use the fire of his passion to light the world on fire again. He decided. That’s my take, but I think it makes sense in the context of things he’s said about the song and with ‘More’, where he clearly talks about wanting more for his career.

I know BTS needed a break but what J-Hope is doing with this album is so brave. This song explains it well. It’s like this: once water boils, the water can’t get any hotter. BTS couldn’t really be any more famous or go any higher. They had done it all, every genre, always filled stadiums. There were signs of each of them wanting to stretch and break out, with the collaborations several of them did, covers, making OSTs, producing other artists. J-Hope sort ripped off the bandaid and went all in. Good for him. I would bet that other members might be less afraid of disappointing ARMY after seeing what J-Hope did and how well it was received.

This song is soooo good. It makes me feel kind of anxious. I know it sounds weird, but this song talks to some deeper levels of my fears and what I experienced in my past. The experience of the world falling apart and burn. The way he carries the lyrics, the way he moves through this fire, the way he uses his voice just goes really deep. J-Hope is showing everything he did learn in the past 10 years. As if it all built up and is now ripe to be shown to the world. FIRE 🔥

Reaction on point, as always. JHope is an artist with such a consistent persona. And now he’s walking us through the birth, inner workings, and transformation of that persona into something evolved, something new, from a place of deep, scarred honesty. Rap is the perfect medium for it. He’s pulling no punches. He’s setting aside his dance powers for it too, focusing on music alone. It’s so fucking sick. He’s killing it. I’m in awe.

He was street dancer, famous before bts. So he learned To rap, dance New stuff. Hip hop, popping, this style is his style. He is dance leader with Jimin, allso teacher in group. This is his passion, style. They are what we have used To see, roles are now down. Hobi is peefectionist, Hard working guy. Similar like Jimin. He told us one year ago I think that everything is not ok. He is tired, no motivation, Off course Will do what he have To do. Maybe girl friend would be nice, normal things. All group say the same in festa dinner. This is his own struggle, he have done this record long time so now its time To do something More him style stuff. I love him, I allways have. This and his song MORE are two of my all time favorites. So, so, so, so good. Love your analysis, too. Notice he wrote / released these songs / this album before he joined the military. ARSON is a masterpiece. Jhope is so talented, like the honesty and rawness in the lyrics too.

J-Hope says to listen to the tracks in order as they all tell you a story thru the beat and the lyrics, Hobi has created a freakin masterpiece.. I'm super proud that he executed this so flawlessly💜💜💜 I have been waiting for your reaction😎 Anthony if you look close at the end you can see the box from the More MV in the background, funny that you mention FIRE cuz that hoodie guy looks like the one from the fire mv
