I mean this album is literally a soundtrack to his dance documentary Hope on the street. This is made for dance. Yes yoonmirae is a woman. Her and her husband both are kinda rap legends in korea. Her husband tiger jk has worked with RM before. Rm has also featured on a Gaecko track.

To expand on the comment: rm did a song with mfbty (which has tiger jk & yoomirae) called bucku bucku. Gaeko is part of dynamic duo, & he was involved in the song that became a dance challenge recently on tiktok, the smoke challenge. Gaeko's song with rm is called gajah, but they are all khiphop royalty

Thanks for the reaction. I won't repeat what others have already shared. I think a lot of people sleep on J-Hope's vocals. They are great on this song & I Iove his adlibs during Gaecko's verses. This album & documentary (which is on Prime video) are all about his dance origin story. Neuron is not only the name of the song but also of the street dance crew that J-Hope danced with when he was young. So I also feel the boy in the video represent's J-Hope.

I could be way off, but the way I interpreted this MV the kid (Neuron is the name of the street dance crew he joined in his early teens) represents J-hope wondering something like “How did I get where I am?” or “What inspires me?” and mentally going back to collect those moments to piece together an answer, but decades into the future he would still be collecting/connecting them because he’s still experiencing them. Whatever “it” is (the dancing aspect his documentary is focused on? music in general? BTS?), J-Hope sees himself still “at it” until old age.

71 year old Army here. Neuron is the name of J-hope's street dancing crew from his teen years. Neuron actually still exists as a dance crew. The kid in the video probably represents J-hope. He started dance lessons at the age of 10. You may or may not have reacted to J-hope's collab with J Cole "On the Street" before his enlistment. J-hope has idolized J Cole for years now. Please react to his docuseries. "Hope On The Street" just released to coincide with his new album. This song is the lead single from the album. Thanks for your reaction. 💜

76 year old ARMY myself💜Hobi brought me to BTS. Always loved dance starting with Fred Astair, Ginger Rogers, Gene Kelly( 😅I'm so old), one day channel surfing about 8 years ago I found a hour long video 'Hope on the Street ' with Hobi free styling 😱. I was mesmerized. Looked for more J-Hope content and found BTS and fell in love with their talent, art, and sincerity to their craft. Fell into the BTS Rabbit Hole too. Hobi caught me, Jimin(dance of course, my first love) hooked me, and Suga/Min Yoongi wrecked me completely(that man hits my soul) and sealed the deal. Living long enough to experience BTS is one of my greatest blessings in life. OT7 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

This is so 80's hip-hop to me, too. I absolutely love it. It has a lightness and a sense of 😂 hope that is missing from a lot of modern music. Love the guest rappers. The second one 💜 Yoonmirae, I adore her. Did you get a hair cut? Looks good. 😘💜🫶🏻🫰🏻

Have you heard of IZ*ONE ? IZ*ONE was formed through Mnet's competition show called Produce 48. The group was composed of twelve members : Kwon Eun-bi (The leader of IZ*ONE), Jang Won-young (The maknae of IZ*ONE) (IVE member), Sakura Miyawaki (Japanese) (LE SSERAFIM member), Nako Yabuki (Japanese), Hitomi Honda (Japanese), Jo Yu-ri, Choi Ye-na, An Yu-jin (The leader of IVE), Kang Hye-won, Lee Chae-yeon (ITZY Chaeryeong's older sister), Kim Min-ju, and Kim Chae-won (The leader of LE SSERAFIM).
