BTS had always been vocal about how much they appreciated Hobi's presence. Each member has a special bond with Hobi. Despite being with him for over a decade, BTS still couldn't help but gush over Hobi.

Do you remember when it was said on Burn the Stage that JHope had quit Big Hit before BTS’s debut for a brief period? He came back because all the members desperately needed him and JK even cried pleading with him not to leave. When I think about that moment it makes me wanna cry 😢. It’s so hard to imagine BTS without JHope. Just like how they knew they needed him, we can all agree with that 💜🫶🏼
