I am Indonesian. My father was an exhange student from Indonesia in Oklahoma City Senior High School in late 1950''s. Everytime I hear Jim Reeves songs, I remember when my father was still there. Many of his peers in old photos during his time in Okla looked like Jim Reeves. I am 62 years now..😃

@@deanstockdale1106 I remember my mum being very upset when he died but found it strange as he was not someone we knew but now I understand as my favourite singer is cliff richard and just can’t imagine him not being here, I still go to his concerts. Me and my sister are going to a country and western concert next month as our mum and dad loved that music and it will bring back lots of memories so think we may be shedding a few tears.
