30 + years of dabbling in music and 360+ lessons from you and I've only just realised that in rock Harmonic theory is more of a suggestion than a hard and fast rule. No wonder I've been having problems working some songs out by ear (that F major in After Midnight has no business being anywhere near a song in D Major but boy does it sound good). Possibly the most important lesson I've learned this year and it's going to take me the rest of my life to fully understand it. Thank you.

I think you're right. I've never seen a picture of him with a capo. But this video is aimed at beginners and a capo makes things a million times easier, so people can get some experience playing real songs all the way through. Thank you for watching, by the way!
