So happy to see the JJ Cale videos, Jon. He has been one of my favorites since the 70's. Thank you.

Jon you just always come with a way to play it just a little bit better and stand out from the basic open chords way it can be played. Very nice!

I prefer this version to EC's. It is funkier and more soulful. Great lesson Jon. Thanks for uploading!👍👍

Another fun lesson, the riff is a great idea! Many of us came to JJ Cale via Eric Clapton, who was the most generous rock star of his generation in giving credit. JJ Cale is not only a great song writer, but underappreciated as a guitarist.

Hey mate, what’s the chances of doing a lesson for the solo part you played at the beginning of the video? Thanks

I love your lessons/jams. I have a much forgotten song by Major Lance called " The Monkey Time" that i am trying to arrange for an open mike performance and solo set. Do you have any ideas? It's a fun song that gets people movin'!
