I remember my baby father not helping me and I feeling exactly how she feels. Having to do it all on my own and feeling like I was literally at breaking point. A year later things changed so much! I am in a better place mentally, went back to education and my children are just fine without their dad and my family has been our rock! This song reminds me of how far I have come!

A father can't be there for a child when the mom is constantly blocking him from seeing them because of her pettiness.
@iambeezee7 жыл бұрын
alice gur Hit the nail on the head there. Men have the option to say "na I don't wanna deal with this today" where as if that woman is sick, having a bad day, had a row with the father, has stuff to do.... the option is not there. You feed with that fever, you suck up that mood, wipe your tears and smile for your baby and take your baby shopping with you! The "baby mama" gets no breaks, and the "baby daddy" is there to do them a favour when taking the kid for a few hours. The two roles can never be compared. I see the mans side, but having sex, you know that pregnancy is a possibility. So be fully accountable. Before you say a woman trapped you, think about how trapped she feels, awake at 4am in the morning, while you fast asleep. Boy, you trapped her too.

Love how you did both sides, but would love to see 2 other versions one where the mama won't let the dad see the baby or help Bc of her own selfishness and anger. And one where the dad just chooses to remain gone for his own selfish reasons. My best friend hasn't seen or met his daughter and she is about to be 2. Bc the mama is just being cruddy. He is paying child support is supposed to have visitation rights but she doesn't comply and the judge isn't forcing her. My daughter is 16 and her bio dad still chooses to not step up. And was told I don't want anything from him no child support nothing. I just wanted him to be present. I was a daddy's girl and I would have done anything for her to have that at that time. But she is 16 my husband has raised her since she was about 3/4. She wanted to contact her bio dad this year and we did. He has 2 other daughters 3,1 but doesn't want her. But that's ok. She is an amazing girl. Doesn't so much with ROTC in drill, PT team, honor guard and color guard. Plans on going to A&M core cadet program and a God fearing girl. I did my best and my husband has done his best. But I can appreciate this song so much and I thank you for it. The lyrics as well as your talent really made it. Thank you so much for sharing it!! Another real track by a real artist. Why can’t this go mainstream & get radio play? Maybe ppl will become more responsible? Maybe they scared of that?

I saw part one on Facebook and I can't stress how important it is to know both sides because when everything is one sided you judge before you know anything this song was amazing glad to have heard it its a shame how the world we love in today is when our lazy fat cat government won't help those in need like these people and others this song was deep

Listen, I really like this song and video AND it sounds to true to life. He's blaming her for "bringing the baby into this broken life" and blaming them for him robbing. Get a job or 2....."nigga". I'm not mad and I really like the artistry.
@ystedford08767 жыл бұрын
Thurnese Williams...I totally agree. The music and the rapper is AWESOME! But that portion of his lyrics shows the ignorance of some men. Women and children need security to know that the party they look up to "got them". Most woman will ride and die for their man and children but then our men fail us. And when we point it out, all of a sudden we are money grubbing hoes, and we trapped them, and we are vindictive bitches. Don't get me wrong there are some chics out there that do those kind of things, but they don't date broke ass men. Stop looking at woman as though they are the enemy and look into yourselves.

Thurnese Williams ... you do know he rhyming off a conversation between a bm and bd going thru the struggle, right??? they both blaming eachother, right???

Yeah I agree. When he said that it did throw me. If a guy want an abortion and he blames you for y’all situation because you didn’t...smh foul. How could it be a females fault for bringing in a child? Like I don’t get it?
@patrickdan686 жыл бұрын
Leslie James Well if someone wants an abortion its probably because they can't support a child or isn't ready to. Don't tell me if you dont want kids dont have sex or use a condom. Yes they should've used a condom, but plan b pills, birth control, abortion pills etc. Are made for a reason.

I can relate to the story line of this song , sometimes us young mother's do push young father's to the point where they feel the need to do whatever's necessary to provide for the child , we tend to put too much pressure upon them.
