Before 5th aug 2019 peaceful community used to think they are bigger than government. No party can't form government without their votes. And congress also appeased them. Modi showed them their opinion and votes don't matter. And no one is powerful than government. So now they started coming to give votes. Note it in assembly elections these will go upto 60%. And if it doesn't government should increase seats in jammu region. There people votes.

We actually NEVER cared nor will ever care. Congress blunders on Kashmir were initially for geopolitical reasons but then shifted to vote bank reasons. Kashmir might have played a significant part in unifying Hindus, perhaps even equivalent to the Ram temple movement.
