I let you guys down with the last song guys. But YOU spoke and I LISTENED! So I'm back again with another Passcode song that is apparently heavier with more screaming... and more legs....?

Almost everybody's got the problem with their "autotune" voice, i'm fine with it since i'm FALILV fans but now i wondering if they didn't got inspired by FALILV would they use vocoder? Anyway, if you want to know their real singing skill without vocoder, listen to their song 'from here'. Ps: the PV actually is an ads for mobile game Asphalt 9

venomi ahh that makes sense thanks for telling me. I think it’s more the music that I don’t like. With FALILV you can clearly here all the instruments and yes there vocoder but with passcode it’s the entire song and it’s used so much!

For me, the shiny synths and "autotuned" vocals perfectly balance the heavy riffs and the screams. Without them, PassCode would just be another metal idol group, which would be alright I suppose, but for me their hybrid futuristic pop-metal style makes them much more distinctive and interesting. However, if you can't get past the synthetic elements of their sound, then PassCode is not for you. I would still urge you to watch a live clip to witness the intensity of their shows. TRACE (live at Studio Coast, 2016) is as good as any: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZqbqItnn5qiqtU

Thanks man! I guess I need more focus on musical instruments instead of synth and electronics. That’s just me. But it works sometimes and I’m growing into it thanks to Crossfaith, SiM and Babymetal!

Thanks for the reply! Yes, when it comes down to it, it's personal taste. The first band I loved was Ultravox and my first gig was Gary Numan so I've been enjoying the wedding of synthesisers and electric guitars for 40 years. Like I said, I still urge you to watch PassCode live, but ultimately if their music doesn't speak to you, it doesn't speak to you. All the best.

I came for the football then discovered it's soccer, but stayed for the review anyway. Nice touch, playing Asphalt 9 (nice product placement) while walking down the street - road hazard much? I also liked the band, nice sound mix, liked the drums up front. Video was fun to watch. In the absence of air feathers and metal drop at the same speed.

I've got a few more hellish shifts this week, so I'm hoping for more videos of duck related banter to come home to haha It's definitely better than the last one. The song structure was actually pretty decent, the screamo worked well, then the autotune kicks in and I can't handle it. I think the autotune's a new thing, as a couple of guys suggested other songs without it, and they were from like 2016. This blows my mind, why would you add that? Maniacs.

As someone mention it in comment section, they are copying FALILV (fear, and loathing in las vegas) style, the synth, the scream, the "autotune", the musical changes within the song, etc, they just like female version of FALILV. And as most passcode fans defend, they don't use autotune, but tool called VOCODER

I'm fine with Pika-tune, at least it was an okay song to you. I had loved PassCode not because of their mv but on their live performances, they always give their 200% all. Seriously it's so hard to sing and dance at the same time while shouting and screaming to the song/fans. Just in case you'll give a listen to their live: PassCode - TRACE (live at Studio Coast, 2016) kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZqbqItnn5qiqtU Here's more in depth understanding about autotune/vocoders effects: Talkboxes, Vocoders, and Auto Tune: A History of Voice Alteration kzbin.info/www/bejne/raSzd2NvnZd7nbc Please make reaction again with Visual Keis, you haven't check Jiluka/Kizu/Nazare and the latest mv of Deviloof. The autotune is a matter of taste and part of their style. If you are interested, check out their song "Ninja Bomber". No autotune there (as far as my uneducated ears can tell). And: yay, my comment was mentioned in a yt video :D Keep up the good work and be assured that there are people out there enjoying your content. Lots of love from Germany.

The autotuned vocals brought Hatsune Miku to mind. Whether that is good or bad is for others to decide. That sports stadium is awesome. I've watched enough Premier League games to know that singing throughout a match is not exclusive to the Japanese.

John Matthew but we don’t sing the entire time. We take breaks. It was CONSTANT for the 90 mins haha. Kind of detracted from the tension.
