Wonderful work! It’s nice to know that there are others composing in this sort of style. Far too often, I find composers like us (in my own experience) tend to be disregarded as us trying to be Mozart (F those people anyway). I myself have a KZbin channel and post my music. It’s in a similar style as this, but with other elements such as African dance rhythms (borrowed from my time working with musicians over there, long story) and hints of rock/metal during the darker moments.

Thanks very much. I agree, too often historicists are written off, especially by academia, and it just isn't fair. Fortunately, that seems to be changing gradually.

@ yes! Just because you don’t use/like harsh dissonances in your music doesn’t mean you don’t have your own voice, even if you’re writing in an older style!
