@chitownmo You obviously know the game, my words come from J-Mike himself, since I was not there in previous summers to witness his play..but he admitted, his production hit a ceiling..he re-dedicated himself and what I saw when I showed up this day in Dallas was a dynamite point guard with superb quickness, great feel for the game and even more impressive, willing to play great on-ball & team defense, something you don't see a lot in AAU ball.

@Yeaboy713 i remember his pops having a heart condition but if there were off court issues that is something that should have no bearing on his ranking. there were reports that he came off the bench and was not playing well in aau which were lies. i have seen every pg in 2012 and no one is better than jm. even in 2011.

the only scouting service that wrote a accurate report was nbadraft.net after their coverage of the boo williams tournament in 09 that houston was better with jm having the ball in his hands. they were in transition and the ball was spread around.

I think they mean by A&M being a small school meaning it doesn't get as much exposure basketball wise. Or they just don't know what they're talking about.

Shoulda have gone to Kansas. They wont have a point guard in 2012 and J coulda start as a frosh. I mean at tiny Texas A and M he will be a star but that school dont produce nba players. He has a rapper face, good tattoo. Pliz cum to Kansas.

Have a question? i want proof that he stuggled in aau because there are alot of lies about his performance over the last 2 aau seasons.

lie 1# he came off the bench his freshman and sophomore years for houston.Truth.He never came off the bench since he was in 8th grade playing on the 17U team in 08 playing behind mcdonald's all american tommie mason griffin.

lj played pg and had the ball most of the time for houston. jm played off guard and suffered for it. lj holds the ball too much. bossi at rivals could not even answer the reasoning soundly why they ranked jm lower after the 2010 aau season. he isnt diffcult to evaluate. he is a quick point guard that can score in bunches with a cool temperment that plays both ends of the floor. simple. his size and strength for size does need to improve but everything else you want in a pg is there and more.

@Yeaboy713 teague is more vertical but their speed is similiar and jm is quicker and plays point guard soundly where teague is more of a talent. he is a superior athlete and defender to josiah turner. turner is bigger and stronger but does not as good a shooter.

he plays the game. lie 3# he is a scoring point guard that will be difficult to transition to point guard at the next level. this is the dumbest evaluation of any player i have ever read of. anyone with eyes can look at his build and temperment and see he is a point guard. i have seen a considerable numbers of his high school games and he is a PG. plays pg very well. cool calm and controlled. espn and rivals stated falsely he is erratic and shoots early in the clock. want proof of that.

playing off guard in aau does not make you a undersized off guard(rivals after 2010 aau season). that is the worst evaluation of a prospect i have ever seen. i remember clark francis writing after the 08 season that reese did not wow with dazzling performances as a 8th grader playing 17U ball. even though he was never outplayed by anyone other than austin rivers but apparently you cant just be productive but you have to have to put on a show as well.

Lie 2# LJ Rose and Rasheed Sulaimon are better prospects. Yeah you should be considered better if you were allowed to hold the ball most of the shot clock(rose) or chuck shots(sheed). lj rose is not as athetic nor the penetrator, scorer defender that jm is. sheed is a better outside shooter but is not the passer penetrator defender or finisher that JM is. anyone with eyes can see that but apparently but not scouts. mike does not try to dunk on everyone or hit 30+ every game.
