I wish I could give the Philippines, Taiwan, and Japanese disputed territories/islands to Japan. I may be Filipino, my last name is Japanese and I respect the honorable Imperial Japanese soldiers.

Pakistan played a significant role during 1947-51 in lifting the Occupation and restoring of Japan's sovereignty. Pakistan was known as the 'tower of strength' on the Japanese peace treaty signed on 8 September 1951 at San Francisco as was marked by US Secretary of State John Foster Dulles. Unlike many Asian countries, Pakistan waived off war reparations to Japan to help build its economy. Pakistan was among the first few countries that had ratified the Japanese peace treaty.

Was Pakistan a nation during the War? Someone could ask, though Pakistan did not exist until 1947 after it was created from land westward of India, does it have a legal say because it was ceded land even though that government did not exist during the War?
In order to meet the acute shortage of food in Japan caused after the war, Pakistan shipped 60,000 tons of rice through Nichimen vessels to Japan in 1952 and 1953 carrying the signboard ‘Donated Rice to the Emperor of Japan by the Government of Pakistan’. Such was the national sentiment between the two sides in the 1950s.
I like your attitude, but perhaps this particular time was not the best to wish to be Japanese in. Drafting for a war from which only 20% ever returned. later allied firebombing raids on almost all major Japanese cities along with tough rations and a pretty oppressive regime with slogans such as "Luxury is the enemy" and "the one who does not want wins" But at least the uniforms, war time kimono and Kokumin-fuku looks cool and the music was also great.
