Somebody actually could make an Attack on Fortress mod. You play only as Demos and Soldiers and giant robots walk around. The player must explosion jump (player's take no explosive damage) behind the enemy and shoot a red mark on the back of their neck. Some enemies have guns, some have explosives and some need to be melee attacked to die.
