This will not be a problem if the guy has maintained the car correctly in the sense driven correctly, he is a rash driver experimenting on such a costly car. Several accidents happened on this car, which might be the reason for this situation, otherwise Kia Seltos is a gem of a car, I own Seltos since 1 year continuously travelled for 2000 km never gave any problems

i think jab naya engine ka kam hua.. Ye log timing nahi baitha paye thik se. Engine knocking ka sound hai wo kur kur kur. Iska engine ka head khulega. Timing bithani padegi thik se fir chalegi makkhan. KIA wale sahed nayi gari engine overhaul karne se jijhak rahi hai..

In USA kia and hyundai had recall for fire. They issues warning to not park indoors until a fix is found. Always go with toyota. Kia, hyundai gives lots of features but not worth the hassle afterwards. Should have returned the car with lemon policy. Ya lawyer pakro aur sue karo kia ko. That noise can be from engine cabin filter box not being close properly. Check karo.
