This video has been created from “point cloud data” obtained from a 3D data scan of the Kyoto Institute of Technology Matsugasaki campus. Point cloud data, a collection of points with coordinates, can be utilized for environmental simulation, the development of new materials, and the inspection and restoration of buildings and cultural assets. Kyoto Institute of Technology is promoting research into "Designing future societies" using point cloud data.
