Very happy to tell you and everyone who thinks they are not famous! The orchestra is not known to everyone in the world, but the fans from all over the world enjoy their every performance, even a lump in the throat! I wish them and the cohort 121 and the rest of the cohorts that they will rise further in level and cuteness
Tachibana could receive even more money if the address screens were changed to allow foreigners to register. Right now, we can enter credit or debit card information, but not our addresses, so we can't do anything..😮

@@massvt3821 It is not necessary to fill in your exact information, nor is it necessary to write down an address in Japan, I tortured my keyboard to do it and it worked.
good to see that thru the different classes, KT has maintained the same level of skills, energy and professionalism even at their young ages. really a KT fan here. i hope to see them perform live someday.
Outstanding video, nice to see the drummers and tuba players being highlighted at the beginning. They are the unsung hero’s of this band. Can’t even begin to imagine the strength, energy, and stamina required to do what they do for an entire parade or performance, esp the Rose Parade that is 5.5 miles long. They have my utmost respect and admiration. I bow to you. Hope to see a lot of their recent alumni in the 2025 Rose Parade, it will be an amazing and legendary performance for sure.
The crowdfunding campaign has ended, and it accumulated over $700,000 for Tachibana's trip to Los Angeles in December. Very impressive total, and I'm sure that the band members appreciate the help!

I've been a fan for a few years now, and I'm never disappointed! Clearly, to be part of this gifted band must be both a humbling and proud experience. They are the best of the best!

Wow really? Good to know that, thanks. They are two of my favorite percussionists.

Yes they are

That's why I noticed the resemblance between the two of them
I wish I could support this band from the US, but is nearly impossible. They should have a PayPal account or some way to send donations to them. They definitely could use our support.

I agree. It's basically impossible for a foreigner to contribute. As a US resident, I can enter credit card information, but not an address, so I can't send anything. And US addresses are very simple, too!
Once upon a time, a drum major so fair, Beautiful, smart, and with talent to spare, Upon graduation, she vanished from sight, into the future, beyond reach and light. But at that moment, a fairy did appear, With a name that sounded quite queer, Extracurricular Activity was her name, And without her help, Tachibana was not the same. Thanks to this fairy, a new drum major arose, And with her talents, the school’s spirit glows, With music and dance, and extracurricular fun, The students of Tachibana shine like the sun, So let us all praise this magical sprite, Who brings joy and wonder, day and night, Extracurricular Activity, we thank you so, For making Tachibana’s spirit glow and grow.
The new crowdfunding goal (50, 000,000 yen) has been reached, and now a new goal of 100,000,000 yen (app. $660,000 USD) has been set. The deadline is later in April. Even if the address page is fixed for foreign donations, this might be too much to expect. I wonder if JAL/ANA can be persuaded to lower their ticket prices, or if more nights can be spent with host families instead of hotels?
Interesting to see how many of the songs here they will have at RP25. It sure will be some changes to suit the American audience. For me personally hope they really keep "Wish Upon A Star" and "Smoke On The Water". And also I hope it will be little more "8/5 step" in RP.. Not wrong what they do here, but I think for a parade as long as RP is it would be both easier and smoother performance. But of course, this is only my own opinion.. Anyway. They will own the RP25, just like they did at RP12 and 18. 👍🎶🎷🎺📯🥁

You need to go to DCI championships in Indianapolis one year just like the Calgary Show Band!

The marching coach of the band was actually a member of a DCI group in the U.S. for a few years. The same for the previous coach, he once was in a DCI group, too.
