There are so many cute girls in this band, it is hard to choose a favorite. But I do. It is Penguin-san. She is just too cute for words. She is not quite as tall as the gong, but she proves to be boss of it. I understand she is in university now (2020). Good luck pretty lady and wonderful percussionist.

Miss P... san, she's the loveliest, well everybody are lovely too.... but she is the most photogenic.... that's why she is the most favorite.... unfortunately she's graduating, i hope, let's hope that she'll stay with the band for awhile... Has anybody watched the new comers, new music n dance steps?... ofcourse with some seniors, 3rd n 4th year seniors....

No newcomers yet, the new 1st graders aren't introduced until the Blumen Hugel parade. P won't graduate until next March, but will retire from the band in December in order to prepare for her college entrance exams. Also, there's no 4th year seniors. In Japan they go to high school for only 3 years. What are actually in this parade are still 2nd and 1st graders, who will move up to 3rd and 2nd graders next month. ..Joe

マントのような→「ケープ」ですね。通常DMさんの様な両肩を覆うものですがそこからヒントを得てアクセサリーデザインとしてハーフサイズを考案されたんでしょうね。結果的に小さくなったことで後に発明されたダンスマーチングの激しい動きでも邪魔にならないうえ汗、時には涙も拭うことに。このケープには代々の先輩達の思いが染み込んでいるんでしょうね。 なおケープには下半身まで覆うものが有りますが通常マントと呼ばれることが多いですね。

I know that maybe some of y'all may be getting tired of my babbling about how awesome the youngsters of the Kyoto Tachibana High School Marching Band are. But, when it comes to them there isn't any other marching bands that can hold a candle to them. It's like comparing apples to oranges.....They all play their parts beautifully and strong. I'm not saying that they don't make any mistakes, but they're hardly noticeable. I can't wait for the Kyoto Tachibana High School Marching Band to be invited the Pasadena Rose Parade again. The world needs more like these youngsters....... 京都橘高校マーチングバンドの若者たちがどれほど素晴らしいかについての私の雑談にうんざりしている人もいるかもしれません。 しかし、彼らに関して言えば、彼らに匹敵するマーチングバンドは他にありません。 リンゴとオレンジを比較するようなものです。すべてが美しく、力強く、それぞれの役割を果たしています。 間違いが全くないとは言いませんが、ほとんど目立ちません。 京都橘高校マーチングバンドが再びパサデナローズパレードに招待されるのが待ちきれません。 世界はこのような若者をもっと必要としています。 Sé que tal vez algunos de ustedes se estén cansando de mis parloteos sobre lo maravillosos que son los jóvenes de la Banda de Música de la Escuela Secundaria Tachibana de Kyoto. Pero, cuando se trata de ellos, no hay ninguna otra banda de música que pueda compararse con ellos. Es como comparar manzanas con naranjas... Todas desempeñan su papel de manera hermosa y fuerte. No digo que no cometan ningún error, pero apenas se notan. No puedo esperar a que la Banda de Marcha de la Escuela Secundaria Tachibana de Kyoto sea invitada nuevamente al Desfile de las Rosas de Pasadena. El mundo necesita más jóvenes como estos....

However, writing or topic such as “I am a fan of XXXX(individual students)” or “I want to know someone’s nickname” or “someone cut her hair” or “there are some graduates shown in the video” are clearly unsuitable. They are not professional entertainers or J-pop idols. They are teen students even alumni. Please think about it. Do not forget the moderation as an adult. This site is also read by parents of students. If the conversation continues at this kind of level, they are misunderstood that “Overseas fans are who only interested in individual students or students costumes”. Please focus on expectations for the entire band and their music. Please look at them from the perspective of educating students. The significance of their existence is to connect us across nationalities and languages. Please don’t replace the praise for that with the interest of the students individually. Protecting those wonderful students from vulgar curiosity is our duty as an adult. And I’d like add one more that please DO NOT call the school directly for any inquiries. The school side is in great trouble because the inquiries from each country disturb the office work. all are musicians, the girls in the color guard too, when they make performances as orchestra they play their instruments, almost all are flutists or play clarinet, in fact the girl who is in front of palinpu the DM plays the flute.
