amazing talents, even more amazing that (I assume) every year you lose the senior class (most experienced) and replace it with new (freshman) musicians, yet give 100% professional performance annually. Kudos to the young adults and their instructors. Truly well done! 10 👍/ 10 👍

@@Catssonova特別なオーディションはありません。他校には吹奏楽科や全国から部員を集める所もありますが京都橘は普通の高校で吹奏楽部員は学生寮がないため自宅通学者に限られます。つまり基本的に京都を中心にした関西圏のマーチング好きな子供たちの集まりです😊 個人的にはそれも京都橘の魅力だと思います😊

The talent of these young people never ceases to amaze me. The sax solo on Celebration was so smooth, especially when joined by the second player. The long hours that they practice really shows. I don't think I've ever seen anyone make a mistake!

They're known as the "Orange Devils" because they strike fear into every other band at competitions. They're so well known that Kyoto Animation used them as the inspiration for the "Blue Devils" of the fictional Rikka High School in the anime Hibike! Euphonium (Sound! Euphonium).

前田さん、金沢遠征お疲れ様でした🥀 さて2008年以来の吹奏楽コンクール京都府予選突破、本当に嬉しいニュースでした。会場では歓喜に湧いたようですが、これから益々厳しい練習になりますね。大阪桐蔭、淀工、仰星、明浄など実力校が揃う関西大会ではきっと京都橘の新しい1ページが開かれるでしょう📙“金沢ゆめ街道”も2回目の参加、心なしか音にもより自信が現れている気がします。金沢の皆さんの声援は変わらず素晴らしい👏👏👏

毎日気を張って過ごしていて、ふと橘の演奏を見ると何か大事なことを思い出させてもらえる気がします✨表情一つを見ても、楽しむことの大切さに気づかされて涙が溢れてしまいます😭何なんでしょうかね、橘の演奏だけは全身鳥肌が立つくらい感動してしまう。

Very nice performance, that bari sax is a beautiful looking instrument. The solo clarinetist has improved her sound from an earlier video I saw. Was funny that all the members eyes were on the DM at the very beginning before they started playing, kind of creepy too.

For me , this class, especially their current DM, maybe considered the luckiest of all... ever since its founding in 1961! come to think, she was part of their first Taiwan expedition last Oct 0f 2022, on her freshman years which they performed beautifully and amazingly... some videos have already reached a million views...she was part also when they won gold in AJMC that year. On her sophomore , she was part again on their 2nd Taiwan expedition last dec. of 2023, plus they won again gold in AJMC And this year, on her senior years, she will be part again on their rose parade journey this coming DEcember! and hopefully will win their AJMC GOLD! THATS WHY I SAY ... MAYBE.... IM ALREADY VERY EXCITED on what surprisez they will show come dec. at pasadena!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 my orange angels.

大変な気象条件の中、いつも全力のパフォーマンス、そしてそれを見事にとらえた慶次郎さん。ともにありがとうございます。いつも頭を下げて拝見しています。　それでも冷房の効いた快適な部屋で見ていて今の橘を否定し、昔は良かった、何期は最高だった、なんてコメントを最近よく見かけます。 (今のところこの慶次郎さんの動画では見ませんが)　　現役が最高だといつも思っている自分にとって考えられません。いつも笑顔の生徒さんを見ていると疲れた心身ともに癒されています。　それ以外何を求められるでしょうか。　吹奏楽コンクール、マーチングコンクールでのゴールド金賞は生徒さんにとって部活での大きな目標として目指すところだと思いますが、私たちはそれを温かく見守っていく。結果は結果として受け入れ冷静に対応したいです。

大阪在住の70のジジイです。吹コン京都大会、応援に行きましたが、橘の演奏は素晴らしかった。尼崎での関西大会にももちろん行きますよ。K顧問、指導の成果が実りましたね。おめでとうございます。今度は部員たちを宇都宮での全国大会に連れて行ってやって下さい。マーコンも吹コンもどっちも頑張れ。心から応援しています。今月、豊岡の公演に行かせてもらいますが、楽しみにしています。

Aoi Noguchi, who performed a solo of "Memories of You" in Taiwan in 2022, became a DM in 2023 but graduated in March 2024. On this stage, a third-year student is performing a solo of "Memories of You".

暑い中、撮影ありがとうございます。オレンジたちは相変わらず猛暑の中、休みのない夏休みを送っているようで、負傷者も数名出ているようですね。スーザもガーズも増えていてびっくりですよ。1年生が予想を上回る人数だったのでしょう。頼もしい限りです。
