Shock to suddenly see so many tourists. My favorite place in Arashiyama is Rakushi-sha. We can sit and relax and think of poetry. Congratulations on completing this course. It was very interesting to watch. M

Rakushisha is your favorite! You know a lot about Kyoto! Thank you for watching this Kyoto trail series to the end. Your comments encouraged me to make the video. I'm planning to make more videos, so please check them out if you don't mind.Thank you.

@@nishio2022 I lived there for 4 years, near Tofukuji. Have you been to Shigisan near Osaka? It is also very nice and has some nice hikes on that mountain. I will keep watching.

@@modtomodern I've never been to Shigisan. I would like to go there if I have a chance!

@@nishio2022 Buy some cat treats. Go to Shigisanguchi station, take the cable car to the mountain top. Take the bus to the Tiger temple area. Cross the bridge and enjoy a walk to the main temple area. Give the cats some treats, they are tigers and this is the Tiger temple. See the view of Nara and be sure to go down into the dark basement of the temple. Scary!! I would stay at a temple overnight, it is cheap and they have delicious vegetarian meals. Maybe you have to reserve. Walk around to see the beautiful stone lanterns after dark. Get up early and walk around some more go back over the bridge. Take the bus back to the cable car or maybe you can walk down to Shigisan guchi station. At Hattorigawa, wave to my old host family. Imagine me there in 1982. I love Shigi-san. I hope that you can record your adventure if you go.
