Hi sir in SAG they are giving star value and breeding value but bulls star value is high it's breeding value low and breeding value high it's star value low so plz tell what is star value and what is breeding value and we choosing semen based on breeding value or star value? Thank you sir

@@pitchaipillaip1406 For breeding I think most of them are unfit. Also few of the useful ones are either dead or not more in service. One or 2 bulls might be useful but their Dam pics etc are not available.

Breeding : Pure gene banane me 7 to 8 generations lagte hai. Uske bad ki 3 generations me milk gene strong banta hai. India me log bolte hai ki hamne gir ka semen rakhva kar gir peda kar li , Jabki wo log reality me upgradation kar rahe hote hai . Upgradation se breed ke chereckters aa sakte hai , lekin milk nahi aa sakta. If you start breeding , so you must go gor pure gene breed Heifer to adapt and breeding in local climate & resources . ( Jese ki aandhra pradesh me haryana se murrah ka pure gene carry karke Murrah ki productivity aandhra pradesh ke climate me stable ho kar badh rahi hai ) punjab me 10 generations cross karne ke bad H.F. cow me adeptiveness & milk production ka gene pool aaya or din ka 70+ liter record banaya. So , conclusion ye hai ki agar aapko indigenous breeds par kaam karna hai to pure gene animal is very important. ( Pure gene animals + projeny tested bulls + sexed semen ) Every breed has a good potential to improve milk production , but for that it will take time of 40 - 50 years to cross 10 generations. ( Examples : Kankrej cattle of lrs , dantiwada & bhadawari buffalo of Jhansi )

@@AnveshReddyGurram if someone who are interested in exotic cows like h.f. & jersay. than proven bulls + sexed semen both are available In india.lekin India me yahi badi problem hai ki agar gir bulls ka sexed sorted semen hai to wo proven nahi hai. Or proven bull hai to sexed sorted semen nahi hai. atleast we have an option of sexed semen from high perents yields bull , so we make strong milk gene of the progeny.

@@AnveshReddyGurram 😂😅 it's true there are such not a genuine records in gir breeds. Like in ccbf junagarh. there are daily records , but they are not pure gene animals. So sir , what is the genuine solution for future breedars & farmers in your opinion ??

@@KRISHRATHVA221 😂😂. Government work is hopeless in Gir breed. I dont know which words to use to express beyond hopeless. Just see the way they are getting Lildi color bulls, Black color bulls etc. It's a pathetic situation. There is not even one single bull which is of very good caliber to use in Gir breed from which there is sorted semen available in whole country.
