There has never been any doubt that it is Big Walter on harmonica. Little Walter is THE MAN for me but Big Walter made his mark for sure, with this record and the other side of it, 'Evening Sun' and his own 'Hard-Hearted Woman' and 'Have A Good Time' amongst others. Best wishes

Fantastic. This is, of course, the opposite 'side' to 'Evening' Sun. What a double-sided classic! I must have heard it a thousand times but it always sounds great.

Dangerousdave that's with out any question my mentor Big Walter Horton ! I'd know His "Tone" through a Million Harmonica Players ! Little Walter included ! Big Walter was Senior to Little Walter and is said to have shown Little Walter a thing or too ! I first heard of Big Walter Horton from his long time friend and recording partner Johnny Shines in 1972 where we performed together and shared a cabin also at my then first Blues Festival put on by Tennessee's Great BluesMan James "Sparky" Rucker in Hilltop, West VA. ! Big Walter Horton recorded with some of the Best Blues Artist of our times though He didn't get the Commercial Success as Little Walter did He Stood on The Mountain Top TOO !!! If you ever really get to hear me play and I'm praying that soon there will be some video of what I really sound like out soon as I've got some good shows this summer that can be recorded with a Great Band with Nik Pappas on Guitar out of Charleston S.C. !!! Give yourself a real treat and listen to everything Big Walter Horton has ever recorded and you'll be sold that He Too Belongs on The Mt. Rushmore of Blues Harmonica Greats !!!

No doubt! Lil Walter on harp, that's his sound. Big Walter was much rough, a great one, yet. Anyway I love both of them. And what about Johnny? how marvellous was he!

It's 100%Big Walter. Which Walter is better is up to the listener. They both are legends. As Walter said, if they take my style, I'll just find me another.
