@@mayojapan You know most Japanese words are similar to our Tani languages of Arunachal and Assam. Tani languages are Sino-Tibetan. Our ancestors came from Tibet. And in my language, Mishing, we say things like "Ko" which means "little boy" in Japanese too. In Japanese death is "Shi", in Mishing, death is "Si". Japanese, 2 is "Ni". Mishing, 2 is "Anyi". Very similar.

In my language (Mishing), Iki means "dog". "Ko" means small in my language too. Usually used to describe small boys. Like "Nana-Ko". And Japanese word for death is "Shi". Almost same in Mishing, "Si". I guess Japanese must have connection to some Sino-Tibetan languages. Love from North-East India (Assam). 🤭

Korean is the same. But some consider it to be a part of the greater Altaic family (Mongol, Turkic, Kazakh) etc. Tibetan and Chinese are a separate language group.

@@megalith7796 "Yayoi" is actually also the name of the ancient people who migrated to Japan from the Korean Peninsula. The Jomon or the Ainu people were the indigenous inhabitants of Japan. They looked like Polynesians with huge beards. The Yayoi came in and displaced the Ainu people, some intermixed to create the modern Yamato people of Japan. This is why some Japanese can grow big beards and are darker than their Korean neighbours. (See, Tatsuya Nakadai or Toshiro Mifune).

These are few things I noted in this video - 1>The gateway in India is called "Toran",2> She rang bells like in Hindu temples 3> A stone in temple like Shivlinga in Garbhgriha 4>they pray natural things like rivers and mountains 5> She clapped after ringing bells like Hindus do after offering bhog(prashad) to god.6> There are many Indian Gods similar like Saraswati, Lakshmi, Kuber, Shiva, Ganesha, Brahma, Yamraj etc similarly with other names in shintoism.
