Jeep Compass ന്റെ അച്ഛനെന്ന് വിളിക്കാവുന്ന 🚘 Jeep Grand Cherokee നമ്മുടെ നിരത്തുകളിൽ അധികമൊന്നും കാണാൻ കഴിയാറില്ലല്ലോ. 😊 അതുകൊണ്ട് തന്നെയാകാം 1 മാസം മുമ്പ്, 'Study in Australia' എന്ന എപ്പിസോഡ് ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ പ്രതീപ് ഏട്ടന്റെ ഈ വാഹനം കണ്ട് അത് കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ ആവശ്യപ്പെടാൻ ഒരു ത്വര എനിക്കുണ്ടായതും ഞാൻ അത് കമന്റ്‌ ആയി പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചിരുന്നതും. ആ ആഗ്രഹം സാധിച്ചു തന്നതിന് ബൈജു ഏട്ടന് ഒത്തിരി നന്ദി❤. ഒരു പൗരുഷ മുഖ ഭാവമുള്ള അതി ഗംഭീര off roader ആയ Grand Cherokee യുടെ ഇന്റീരിയർ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, "എന്റെ വ്യാകുല മാതാവേ എനിക്ക് വയ്യ...!!" എന്നാണ് തോന്നിയത്. ഇത്രയും മികച്ച ആധുനികവും ആഡംബര പൂർണവുമായ ഒരു ഇന്റീരിയർ ഈ off roaderന് ഞാൻ പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല. ഒരു കാലത്ത് ഇന്ത്യയിൽ, മാരുതി തൊട്ട് Chevrolet വരെ വ്യാപകമായി ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന Fiat ന്റെ മൾട്ടി ജെറ്റ് എൻജിനെപ്പറ്റി പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ഒരു Nostalgia മനസ്സിൽ കടന്നുവന്നു. ഒപ്പം പഴയ ചില, "Smart Drive" ഓർമ്മകളും.

ഇതൊന്നും ആരും off road ചെയാറില്ല വല്ല youtubers ഒഴിച്ച്. US CANADA ഒക്കെ ഒരു family SUV അത്ര ഒള്ളു. ഓടിക്കാൻ fun ആണ് torque and quick accelration ഉണ്ട്. But jeep ആയത്കൊണ്ട് resale value കുറവാണ്. 1 കോടി കു india ൽ ഇത് വാങ്ങുന്നവനെ എന്ത് പറയണം എന്ന് അറിയില്ല 😏

ഞാനോടിച്ചതിൽ ഏറ്റവും കംഫർട്ട് ഉള്ളതും . നമ്മുടെ മനസുപോലെ ഓടിക്കാവുന്ന വാഹനം ... ഗൾഫിൽ വച്ച് ....എന്റെ ബോസിന് എല്ലാ വാഹനങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.... അങ്ങനെ ഓടിച്ചതാണ് .... പക്ഷെ സർവീസ് കോസ്റ്റ് 50000 ത്തിനു മുകളിലേക്കു നോക്കിയാൽ മതി... കാലാവധി കഴിഞ്ഞ പാർട്ടസ് കൾ അപ്പോൾ തന്നെ മാറ്റും .... ഈ വാഹനം ഓടിച്ച കഴിഞ്ഞ് വേറെ ഏതൊരു വാഹനം ഭാടിച്ചാലും ... ഒരു തൃപ്തി ഇല്ലാതാകും.... സൂപ്പർ എന്നു മാത്രം പറയാം.
