This is the fourth home recording dedicated to the 20 "Estudios Sencillos" by composer Leo Brouwer.
The guitarist Jérôme Ducharme play here 5 studies in a precise order concept, and which becomes for the listener a «standalone» set like a «suite».
The three well-contrasted central studies exploring the musical palette of Brouwer are very well surrounded by the studies XIX and XX, and which both share a common theme.
Given the 3 other studies already presented (XVIII-XVI-XVII) some time ago, it seems very likely that Jérôme will come back again with new recordings to complete the full cycle of Leo Brouwer's studies.
