J.R. was a student at the Middle School where I worked. Even at the young age he always talked about being in the rodeo. He had grit and determination even then. I am glad to see that he still has those traits and wish him all the best.

You and your wife who stands beside you are truly an inspiration. I am in a wheelchair also and exercise about an hour a day to stay on my feet and bit with my goal to walk as well. It is so good to read this and see the optimism. Friends help make all possible and a strong faith. Linda Sask Canada

God is in control, and he has a plan. Sometimes it is hard to trust him. Sometimes you have to show your trust by fighting through and working hard. God did not put men on earth to be cowards or to roll over. Seeing your Godly example, your son will never be in your shadow, he will grow in the light. So my guess, JR, if your scared of anything, it will be for that child. Trust him with that too. God is bigger than all of us, and all of our circumstances. Anyway, keep fighting the good fight!
