LYRICS: oooooh, ooooo-ooooh Oh-oh oh-oh oh-woah, oh-oh-oooooh One, two - are you with me? Feel the heat from the girl, and make your body sweat Like a sheer taste, start thing's again Go X - and Y, movin'free Party up fellas, like these dreams Stay, don't miss the pow'r again Free that mind Work your body, til' it's wet and soakin' We're hot'n smokin' I want to show you how (show you how) We can party (we can party) From dusk 'til dawn You know I feel (You know I feel) Just let it go (let it go)... The music makes you higher The music has the power music makes you high music makes you higher music makes you higher music makes you higher You've got to do it right And then (come on!) Work that body Go on, get down (you've got to free your mind) Just go with me (you've got to free your mind) And let go (you gotta let it go) The music makes you high, the music has the power (you've got to free your mind, come on!)

At least for this one, they made sure to keep the chorus. I'm fine with this.

the full version retains the full original set of lyrics, the short version you're listening to here is the second half of the full actually

blakedmc1989DDRHD The original kinda sucked...this one sounds much more polished

Aaron Smith nah it may sound more polished on smaller speakers but on bigger sound systems, diz version sounds weaker than tha original! bigger bass is always better

MaxXimus K To be honest this one needed to be redone xD. The original sounded so all over the place. This one sounds much more polished.

Well all opinions are differant. The original was in 1998 and it was remixed in 2006 so I think music might have evolved a bit during that time period so it might have been remixed to keep it relevant or to make it more fresh if you know what I mean

@@Serpter4215 not gonna weigh in on this again (did so in another reply), but I'd like to at least correct the dates. 1998 - NAOKI first appeared in Dance Dance Revolution Extreme (Arcade - 2002) and was created as a bit of a tribute to the series (1998 was the release year of 1st Mix). 1998 (Sparky 2006) was first released on Hottest Party (Wii - 2007). Here's a little extra context if you want. Hottest Party also had very few songs found in the main series, and with a rather mediocre song list, the original 1998 would've been a welcome sound. However, this change kind of alienated some fans. A similar situation occurred with Dynamite Rave in 2010, however there it was only the vocals that were changed due to licensing issues.

Zeta Phi ah ok. Thanks for clearing that up for me!

@@Vera_Nova this is gonna be long sorry but actually correction, this remix first appeared in 2006 on KONAMISTYLE, a web service by Konami, and this remix actually has a full version (full version is the first version and the one that was for download on KONAMISTYLE) complete with the original set of lyrics, and what you're listening to here is rlly just the second half of the song that serves as the cut when the song included on Hottest Party a year later and those english remixes like this one were included so that they would be playable (and for funsies as well) and to demonstrate the sound direction HP was going for, especially it was a new series utilizing new gameplay techniques and to appeal to casuals as well NAOKI always wanted a more refined and polished sound in his songs too, he wasn't 100% satisfied with some of his works like the N.M.R. songs, and that's why he made those remakes in FFP/HP3 (and also to celebrate the series' 10th anniversary, and just a treat for fans that wanted classic DDR songs in some way on the wii games) although DYNAMITE RAVE is really the only remake that was truly made due to licensing issues given that the 2009 ver actually did replace the original completely in arcade versions and is the only rendition of that song still in arcades today, all the other songs that got a HP makeover still retain their original version in current arcade games and are still in arcade games to this day
