What I love most about The Voice Norway is that the coaches do not make the show about them and they sincerely appreciate every artist even if they are not on their team, unlike in other countries where the competition is more focused among the judges rather than the competitors themselves. Just see how proud and happy the coaches are while watching this performance. Anyway, this is a truly deserved win for Jorgen.

Agree, I have noticed that too. 👍 Also, when it comes to the feedback. The other mentors give as much praise and credit to the other artists not on their team, as they do their own. Even in the final, before the voting Matoma fex said this to Jørgen (Tara was on his team). Host: Matoma, did you enjoy yourself during the performance? Matoma: Jørgen, I love you so much. I throw myself on the Ina-train and say I love you also, because this was absolutely incredible. I see in a way that we have seen a beautiful growth of you as a person and as an artist. Then you come here in the finale with so much confidence. You stand there jamming and is completely a boss. It must be said that it requires a lot. These are countless thousands of hours of hard work, where you have showed so much dedication and not least passion. Jørgen is a complete artist. He sings better than most, he delivers every song with so much feelings and passion, he plays the guitar amazingly, he is a great songwriter. YES! OMG! I usually can't get passed the sadness that this song ISN'T being performed by PRINCE, but, awe, suki-suki now, Good Gawd, Jorgen! This is the best interpretive performance of PURPLE RAIN I've EVER HEARD...!!! You kept it recognizable in all the right places, but you STILL made it your own! As someone born and raised in Minnesota, USA, hometown of prince, I love this for that alone but t I I'd mam has been insanely incredible to watch. He deserves all the success coming his way. I was at the Prince concert but he didn't feel as emotional as Mr Jørge. He sings wonderfully, the guitar sounded perfect. A talent and master of mood, plus a modest and handsome young man. He won The Voice a week ago. He is so down to earth, humble and seems like such a nice guy. He doesnt know how good he is. Every time he received praise and feedback he almost looked to the floor and was so thankful and every time he went through he was very surprised…so I dont think he would ever get a big head. He is also a songwiter himsel and has allready released some songs (on a digital record label where artists can upload their songs and get help releasing them/get them on streaming platforms aso. Here you can listen to them. kzbin.info/door/GRfDLPlM5B7WbMB6UTPIiA Now that he won a recording contract with Universal Music, he will hopefully get some help to break through and maybe collaborate with other producers or songwriters (we have a lot of great ones in Norway). Besides his mentor Ina Wroldsen who is a great artist and songwriter herself, Espen Lind (one of the other mentors) who is also an artist and signed with Universal Music, has also written songs for Beyonce (Irreplacable), Taylor Swift, Emeli Sande, Ne-yo, Leona Lewis, Chris Brown, Selena Gomez to name a few. He also wrote «Hey Soul sister» and «Drive by» for Train and several songs on their album). We also have Stargate (who has produced 16 Grammy nominated albums + songs for international artists like «Issues» Julia Michaels, «Firework» Katy Perry, «Only Girl in the world» and a couple of others from Rihanna, «Irreplacable» and «B’day» Beyonce, Demi Lovato, Shakira, Ne-Yo, Jennifer Hudson, Wiz Kalifa,, Leona Lewis….) and there are a lot of other great songwriters/producers here, BUT Jørgen is also a great songwriter himself (he won a songwriting competition when he was 13 with this song kzbin.info/www/bejne/pp6lZXWLi8-XY80 its important that they are not trying to change him. There is only one Jørgen but lots of pop guys like Harry Styles etc.ø
