It wasn't his best performance of the song, but still so and so much better than Azerbaijan. (Yes, i can complain, i voted 20 times. Bye money.) So was Iceland (and almost everyone else). I feel so sad for the both of them, they both deserved so much to go through. Even when Jüri didn't passed to the finals, he still remains as a winner for me. Estonia couldn't have made a better choice with sending him this year. Also i can't believe Greta was robbed for the second time (May has to do with the fact that the commentators atleast in my country said it was a copy of Måns & Loreen. +Sonia Manzoor i have an explanation (wrote that already on another comment): Jüri couldn't qualify because the stage performance wasn't great. He had to focus on the cards and on the cameras and kind of on his appearance, instead of just focusing on his voice and on his song. He couldn't really show his emotions because he has to think about his choreography. He seemed to be kind unfocused, I think. Well, he truly did mess up a bit. This is what i really don't like about the Eurovision: everything has to look entertaining and exciting. I am sure if Jüri performed exactly as in the Estonian preselection he would be qualified to the Grand final because his voice is so breathtaking and amazing. It's really a pity. You don't have to make a big show to get in the final, you know. If he had done that, he would have been doing great automatically. It is so heartbreaking that he isn't qualified, damn. I still cannot believe that such an incredible talent isn't in the Grand Final. There was also a comment here, were an an Estonian read in the Estonian newspaper that the Swedish managers wanted to change the performance of Jüri, which was in my opinion a big big mistake. If you still feel bad that this wonderful song finished last in 2016, then I remind you of what Mans and Petra taught us on „How to win the ESC“. First step: Memorable beginning (perhaps with a horn), second step: drums with half-naked men or old women, third step: ethnical background with an instrument, no one ever heard of before, fourth step: a violin, fifth step: adding a DJ, sixth step: memorable costumes, seventh step: the song must be about love or peace and finally you need a man in a hamster wheel ;-))) Now you know why Jüri Pootsmann failed last year - but the song - about love ;-) - is still much better than most of the songs that passed on into the final.
