Love me some J. Roddy Walston & The Business! I'm sad I discovered them after they broke up. And they were living and playing in Baltimore, my hometown, with me completely unaware. How did I miss this talent?!

One of my favorites on the album. Please get back together J.Roddy and the Business. I was lucky enough to see you 3 times. I would like to see a 4th.

Incredible song. I’d love to know the backstory bc my personal interpretation of the lyrics fascinates me.

Can't wait for the album to drop. For me, the comparisons to KOL end with just good southern rock.

Ave_Atque_Vale323 This isn't a new trend in their song writing. Pretty constant theme across every album.

Love JRW&TB but this reminds me a little bit of when Kings of Leon started toning down what made them great and started making safe rock songs. Too glossy.

Walker Barrington agreed but J Roddy and KOL are both legit. Their albums are half gritty and half smoother like this.

I like both bands a lot... I'm just an old man shaking his fist at a cloud, remembering the "good old days". All bands grow up and want to make money at some point.. :-)

Bands get bigger bands get more money better producers better studios less time to write less time to operate the way they use to . Countless radio interviews of the same questions over and over again. Plus they are evolving as musicians and song writers things change around them. So obviously the music will follow and change aswell. The difference here is j roddy keeps it honest and it's still raw as hell love the new tunes keep em coming boys

this literally goes exactly with the comment you made on "the wanting", I only know because I just listened to that song. m8 you were ahead of the curve
