This is why music is the most magical of all the arts. Bach represents the best that humans can do when they are supremely talented, masterfully trained, and diligent. This piece is goodness and mercy in rhythms and pitches. And, of course, no instrument is more personal than a guitar because you cradle it in your arms.

Today I went into Guitar Center and tested out a few guitars. A while later I went to the acoustic room and tried a classical guitar. I grabbed the guitar and sat down. I played Malagueña on the guitar and at the end a man in the room complimented me and said I was really good. I thanked him and we talked about classical guitar for a while and it was cool. He said that when he was a child he loved classical guitar and one of his favorite pieces was "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring". That's what brought me here, I actually recognize this melody. I've been trying to find this song for so long, and the day has come. Anyways, excellent playing! :D

can you help me with this Bach piece I'm looking for?? it's a very popular one. ok, if it's in D major, would be like this: bars~> // it's on 4/4 (up = ⬆️ down=⬇️) A//A⬆️DE F# F# E G F# ⬇️A//G F#DE ⬇️G F# C# D// repeats and A.... GF#EDEDC#BA..BC#//DEF#EGF#EDF#..E..//.⬇️A ⬆️F# G A D~ //.. B ⬆️ G# A B E~// etc... this is an ornament ~ up' n down on that note.. I'm sure you've heard this piece.

Then, I came across this talented musician and fell in love with every movement that he does. The precise movement of his eyes, the way his hands shift and the way he feels as he plays. Wow...he deserves to be recognized as an amazing performer!!

I became acquainted with this rendering of “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desire” through a friend in 2016. It is thanks to this friend, and Mr Per-Olov Kindgren, that I took this year my old iron-string (yes) acoustic guitar off its shelf and began studying Mr Kindgren’s fingers- of which the music I never really stopped listening to these past three years-and some tabs here and there, until I reached the point (I think) where I can safely say what follows: that I can now play one of my all-time favorite pieces of music myself. I am still working on it quite a bit, though. For these lines, these heavenly lines, and chord progressions, and harmonies, they are just so indescribably smart, and sound so miraculous, I underestimated exactly how hard for an amateur musician (how indescribably hard, as now I must say) they could be to play gracefully. I was naïve enough to believe, just by watching you play, sir, that it simply could not be that hard it seemed so perfectly logical (it was logical, all right - it is the "perfect" I am currently having trouble with). But, that is what he was about, isn't it? Seeming simplicity, heavenly sound, and mathematical rigor - and an ensemble so glorious, and right, and good, it is of him I think about whenever I hear or read that which is probably my favorite quote of all time, by Nietzsche, that "without music, life would be a mistake." Well, it follows it isn’t. Per-Olov (as your signed in the description), your reverence to Bach in the end is my reverence to you. Thank you, Mr Kindgren!, for inspiring me with such virtuous and passionate dedication. Thank you, Bach!, for reassuring the faith of us all in the human spirit and the Divine alike-and are they not one and the same?-; and for making your case so eloquently through the ages that there would be beauty, and it would all be worth it.

Mr.Per- Olov,You sir are an absolute master. This rendition of one of the most melodic Bach compositions by you caused me to smile and also be mesmerized at the same time at the sight of your unbelievable command of the instrument. If anyone actually sees my comment please look at his right hand.During the beginning of the song he plays it very mellow and sweet by placing his right hand as close as possible to the neck but at the same time every note is Crystal clear... During the middle he intensifies the melody by moving his right hand closer to the bridge and finally finishes the performance by bringing it full circle (back to the neck)...The dynamics left me awestruck
