Leipzig hilft mit Bachs Musik!
Das Calmus Ensemble sendet in Kooperation mit dem Bachfest Leipzig und der Stadt Leipzig zum 337. Geburtstag Johann Sebastian Bachs ein Konzert aus der Leipziger Thomaskirche. Der Erlös des Konzertes soll jungen Menschen aus der Ukraine helfen und den Mitgliedern des 2017 von der Dirigentin Oksana Lyniv gegründeten „Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine“ gespendet werden.

Neben seiner Motette „Jesu, meine Freude“ erklingen speziell für Calmus eingerichtete Collagen und Transkriptionen - Werke, die trösten, reflektieren und berühren. Damit soll Bachs Musik zu seinem 337. Geburtstag ein Zeichen für Frieden und Versöhnung setzen und das Leid junger Menschen in der Ukraine ein wenig lindern.

Leipzig helps with Bach's music!
In cooperation with the Bachfest Leipzig and the City of Leipzig, the Calmus Ensemble will broadcast a concert from Leipzig's Thomaskirche on the 337th anniversary of Johann Sebastian Bach's birth. The proceeds of the concert will help young people from Ukraine and will be donated to the members of the "Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine" founded in 2017 by conductor Oksana Lyniv.

The programme features exclusively compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach. Alongside his motet "Jesu, meine Freude" (Jesu, my joy), collages and transcriptions specially arranged for Calmus will be heard - works that comfort, reflect and touch. In this way, Bach's music is intended to set a sign for peace and reconciliation on his 337th birthday and to alleviate a little of the suffering of young people in Ukraine.

半世紀も昔、「3つのコラール」というタイトルの吹奏楽の編曲でこれらの曲に馴染んだので、とても懐かしいです。ノンビブラートのコーラスも素敵ですね。
