The greatest piece for a cappella choir ever written
@sovereign2546 ай бұрын
This isn't being sung a capella; there's a continuo providing accompaniment?
@L11026 ай бұрын
@@sovereign254 continuo is just supporting, you can also sing it a cappella. A motet is also traditionally sung without accompaniment in the renaissance.

Amazing performance of a work of genius. Or genii, since Johann Frank wrote the first chorale. Thanks for making it such a good choral resource.

Hi Bach! I'm glad that You've looked forward to the 21st century recordings of Your works! Could You teach me counterpoint techniues and SATB music theory?! I NEED your essential composing experience, especial Your algorithmical composing techniues. I have to make harmonizations for self composed chorale-imitations for a video game (as background & scene music). I know You aren't cheap, but I would pay for lessons, if You could teach fast. I'm waiting for Your reply! Sincenery, [InterVox]

The 19:51 note is possible it has to done with a sub-harmonic singing. I have done it 6 times when I sang it.

Is it possible to sing that low of a note? 19:51
@L1102 Жыл бұрын
yes, actually its not difficult for most men.
@ApplepieFTW Жыл бұрын
It's in 415Hz (or so), so it's a sounding e-flat
@SophieSquid2 жыл бұрын
The music audio isn't in the same key as the sheets and it makes the whole thing impossible to work with
@ApplepieFTW Жыл бұрын
This. It's in 415 Hz, roughly a semitone lower.

Хорошо звучат голоса, когда их не забивает аккомпанемент, тогда звучит почти a cappella..🎶👏👏👏❤

Hi , how to get the pdf of the music sheet
@Frankpizzaa3 жыл бұрын
Very cool to follow along to. However there are quite a few typos and german spelling errors, no biggie if it’s someone else’s edit but thought I’d let you know
@hannas.25072 жыл бұрын
Where? I did not read everything, but what I can tell is it's old German. The language changed in the meantime.

@@hannas.2507 oh im just talking about small stuff like at 4:11 sometimes Satan is spelled like Saten which it is consistently supposed to be Satan

I"ll sing it at the end on the this moth in Árpád-házi Szent Erzsébet Plébániatemplom.

Just fyi, this is a 415Hz recording. Yes, I also think the recording is very good, but come on... People use these score videos to study like all the time. I think you could give a disclaimer.

the sheet disappears too soon at every page
@SheetMusicVideo7 жыл бұрын
Bertrand Ulrich I always look at least half a bar ahead. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to read a new page if it turned at the last second of the previous page. Particularly in the fast sections.
@bertrandulrich7 жыл бұрын
Well, yes, it's a bit too fast though, and the blank page appearing half a second gives the impression you dropped the sheet while you were reading ^^
@samuelpazicky36726 жыл бұрын
I think that the timing is great, I sing along and there is no problem, the 0.25s blank page greatly simulates turning the page (not really the score for that moment). Thank you!
