Bach ist mein Komponist. Er hat so wunderschöne Musik geschrieben. Danke fürs Hochladen.Ich bin in Innsbruck zu Hause. Aber geboren bin ich in trier.

Wunderschöne Interpretation dieser kompakten und fein komponierten Kantate mit gut harmonisierten Stimmen des ausgezeichneten Chors und herrlichen Stimmen vierer genialen Solisten sowie gut vereinigten und perfekt entsprechenden Tönen aller Originalinstrumente. Der intelligente und erfahrene Dirigent leitet das ausgezeichnete Ensemble im gut betrachteten Tempo und mit sorgfältig kontrollierter Dynamik. Einfach wunderbar!

I know this is a budget recording; it doesnt dim the beauty of faith of Bach: Soli Deo gloria, but is there any harm knowing where it was performed? I have 3 volumes of "Brilliant" recordings, from somewhere btw 2000 -2010. They were from Netherlands & quite affordable for me. I sang a lot of BAch with my Amateur & mostly elderly choir in the 80's & 90's; not this cantata: it's just amazing that Bach could write so beautifully even though he buried 13 of his 20 kids & 1 wife before he himself was taken home.... Listening to Bach is great, singing it is even better in spite of the difficulties. Sing enough of his works & the difficulties reduce in magnitude. There is so much more to Bach than oratorios & passions. His theological understanding is put into music!!
