I don't know why but this transports me back to 1973 and being 10 and prog rock on my cousins record player, magic. Deep growl of the church organ and the alto ethereal voice of the Moog. Hope heaven has a synth section.

Canadian prog rock band Saga used Moogs and Minimoog prominently in the late 70's and 80's...awesome idea to combine it with church pipe organ!

Diane Bish did this sort of thing around 1981 or so using an Arp Pro Soloist synth with the Ruffatti at Coral Ridge church. "Bish, Bach, and Baroque" was the album. A shame the combination isn't more mainstream.

It was seeing Jozef's first organ and Minimoog piece of music that led me to the second (brilliant piece of music.) With that in mind....I found SBB! What a chance to see and hear great music. I have always thought that music one of the art forms that allows us to look at the world in a different spectrum through which we can see and feel experiences of emotion, compassion and an understanding that, language, culture and basic decency is the human paradigm that will unite us all. IF ANYONE IS WONDERING HOW TO RECREATE THIS SOUND ON THEIR MINIMOOGS.... I tried to mirror the knob settings I could see in this video. I've been noodling with a free Model D vst. What a powerful and dynamic sound! From what I can see, these are what I guess the settings are (I could be wrong): All oscillators are switched on and their volumes are set at 12 o'clock Noise Volume is switched off All oscillators are very closely tuned All oscillators are at 8' octave setting Oscillator 1: Square Oscillator 2: Smaller square pulse width Oscillator 3: Smallest square pulse width Filter modulation: On Oscillator modulation: Off Oscillator 3 control switch: Upper part is depressed Glide: On Decay: Off The VCA and VCF envelope settings are too far to guess what they are. I hope this helps! :D
