I see this song as a representation of...life. An entire lifetime. From a slow birth, rising to adulthood, flourishing in the middle before slowly and finally fading out, carried away by the hums and buzz of life on Earth. I just simply cannot describe it. It's like an expression of the very soul, a lament for all ills suffered and a cry of joy for breath in the lungs, the constant continuous amazement and wonder of life expressed in the repetition of the main melody, overlapping itself and almost stumbling in a way, the same way we stumble forwards through life. Eventually it all ends in a faded, ebbing wave of oblivion, but we are safe in the knowledge that at our peak, we truly did soar.

Just the comment I was looking for! It really is the only thought that came to mind when I read the title of this beautiful tune. It's nice to be able to take a title so literally and still find beauty in it. Stars give this vast empty space light and life... They gave us life. We are all children of stars, and like the stars, we too are gifted with the ability to create new life. With every new life, the potential to explore the ever-expanding boundaries of possibility only grows. We are, all of us, just stars.
